First time trying Via 417, we ordered delivery of the short rib, gnocchi gorgonzola, tiramisu, and panna cotta.
The short rib & polenta was phenomenal. It had a deep rich flavor with creamy cheesy polenta. Just fantastic.
The gnocchi were very bland, not much gorgonzola flavor, really the only flavor was the walnuts. The gnocchi themselves had a nice texture though.
We never had panna Cotta before, but we enjoyed the texture. It was silky and creamy. The topping wasn't that enjoyable though, it had a weird taste maybe almost too concentrated berry flavor, and the dust they added made it gritty. I could eat the inside all day though, it was delicious.
The tiramisu was decent, though we personally didn't like the taste of the chocolate syrup on top.
Overall we enjoyed it and would like to try other menu items.

Our new favorite place! Service is always excellent; food is so delicious ? BYOB; Caesar salad; fresh warm bread; I had ziti with shrimp ? in putanesca sauce. OMG the desserts and cappuccino are delicious too! Thank you Kevin!

The food and staff at Via 417 was amazing. The burrata salad was so fresh and the pesto was *chefs kiss*. The pasta is made in house and cooked to perfection. I got the Pasta Fungi which was 10/10. My husband got the Chicken Via and didnt leave a crumb behind. The staff is so friendly and attentive but you don't feel rushed. The cherry on top is that it is BYOB. We will definitely be going back!

The Seafood Risotto is to die for! My daughter and son in law ate all of my leftovers!!! My husband had the Salmon with Pesto. He would give it 4 stars. But I would give the Risotto TEN stars if I could.

I must say that my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and professionalism shown. This was our first time here. It was warm and inviting and cozy. The services were impeccable! We were greeted by Mikael who was wonderful and attentive the entire time. We ordered their Octopus as the appetizer and it was by far the BEST one we've had. It was so tender,. and was on a bed of arugula salad with a lemony vinegrette dressing. I highly recommend it!. We ordered their 417 Veal and Chicken dishes. Both dishes were delicious! We ended our dinner with a cappuccino (of course) and Tiramisu for dessert. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and cozy.
Appropriate portions, delicious food. Great service. Via 417 is a great place to go for any occasion.

The service is thoughtful, they try very hard with the service, and usually succeed. The food is usually excellent. On a Saturday night the noise level was horrible. Unacceptable. They must do more about sound dampening. I've also been there on weekdays, and the sound level was likewise totally unacceptable. There are technologies that they could use. I certainly won't return until they address that failure. My chicken dish was not the one I ordered (I ordered Via chicken but they gave me the Lemon chicken). They apologized. The breast meat was just very slightly overcooked. But it's next to impossible to get that dish perfect. The seasoning however was right on! I realize many like breast meat, but they should try to use the far more forgiving dark meat. The other dish, with pasta and sausage, was excellent. Showed nuance and creativity. I want this place to succeed. It's a possible local gem.

We have eaten here many times now and find it comfortable with good service and very good food, well made and served hot. Desserts also good. Can be a bit noisy if the room is full. Servers are very nice, price reasonable. We will return!
