I don't write many reviews but I have been regularly going here for almost 2 years and I appreciate the quality and portion sizes for the money. With today's inflationary pressures on both patrons and local businesses alike, this place still provides value and deserves our support. I've never had a disspointing meal from here and the staff is friendly. I live and work in the community and I am grateful for this fine establishment.

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese from here as I used to do growing up in Jenkintown. They took over 40 mins to cook a bacon egg and cheese. Proceed to give me a sandwich with raw bacon. When I asked them to fix it I got argued with and told we sell pre cooked bacon. Which is even more foul and disgusting. This place used to sell good real food. Now they sell cheesy fatty, pre cooked bacon then argue with customers after charging 14$ for a precooked sandwich. Do not go here.

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese, they took over 40 minutes to cook it and then I bite into raw bacon. When I asked them to fix it instead of cooking the bacon they argue with me. This place has gone completely down hill, they serve people raw food, and don’t give a crap about customer service

This place has changed hands 3X (that I know of). I am so appreciative of the fact that they have kept the menu items the same. They have also adapted to the way things were made as well. Quality is just as good as always. The ladies that are there now are so sweet and kind. They missed something on one of my items one time, and they called me within 2 mins to have me come back to fix it. (It really wasn't a big deal, but they wanted to make it right.) I've since moved away from the area, but will continue to come back to give them my business!

Hit the spot! Visitor from the West Coast where I don’t have access to small-owner delicatessens. Loved the Italian deluxe. Good service. Friendly. Clean.

Having grown up in Philadelphia, I often say the best cheesesteaks can be found at those unknown corner stores in the (neighbor)hood. The Village Deli brings that great corner store experience in the middle of the block in Jenkintown. I always experience great customer service whether ordering online or in person. The Village Deli is more than a one hit wonder. I have ordered cheesesteaks several times and each time the food quality as been 10 out of 10. In addition, I have also called ahead to pick Western Omelets with cheddar cheese for breakfast on the way to work. The food was ready and very tasty. When you enter the Deli, you can tell the owner takes great pride in cleanliness, organization and customer service. Village Deli - Definitely a place to go.

We’ve been getting hoagies and steaks from the deli for years. The new owners have kept the quality up and added more options. The folks working are always friendly. Love this place for lunches.

Tried this place as I heard it had new
owners.

We tried a few different things, the fries were still raw in the center, the hot dog tasted awful I threw it away after one bite.

The counter person was obviously new and needs training it took a long time to place the order and it had to be corrected several times. The same thing happened to the next customer in line.

It looked like they wear wiping the knives down with a dry rag, not one that had been sanitized.

Would recommend skipping this place entirely.
