I am only rating this on a sandwich, not coffee or drinks, which is their main thing. I had a cheddar & apple sandwich. The sandwich was a great idea and could have been awesome but it was dry and lacked something like a sause or a spice to bring it together. The homemade cookie I bought was excellent. Yes, I'd return to try a coffee or buy another cookie. Great place to just hang out.

Returned for coffee +1 star. The coffee was perfect 👌

Asked for a suggestion from staff and ordered the scambler, no regrets. Enjoyed the French toast, liked it a little crispy, perfect. My daughter was nice enough to share with me. Don't assume from the outside facsod, go in, and you'll get comfortable really quick on the couches. Next time through town, I will stop in again.

I come here for breakfast and lunch nearly every weekday. I simply could never grow bored with this place! The lovely people behind the counter are so kind and energetic. I bring my young kids with me after school sometimes for a snack of cake pops and an extra pick-me-up lotus drink. They are welcoming to my kids' noisy banter as they go on and on with every worker about how their day at school was. PLEASE never change your friendly, charming ways Gateway!

Fun and laid back place to stop in Jersey Shore. They have a wide menu, with plenty of fun flavors to add to lattes, cappuccinos, and more. The baristas were super friendly and sweet. They also made my drink very quickly, which I appreciated. There was plenty of cozy seating to snuggle up and enjoy my drink. I did notice there were muffins, biscotti, and other food items but lacked the appetite to try them.

From a coffee connoisseur perspective, there were a few areas to improve in. I did notice that the syrups, or at least the majority of them, were not house made. The milk in my cappuccino was over-steamed and did not incorporate any art. However, the espresso was not acidic or overly bitter, and the flavors were well balanced- not too much syrup.

Overall, this is a fantastic little place to unwind at after a long day. Support these small businesses with instead of chain stores!

The food is outstanding - hearty portions and presented well! :) Also one of the cleanest places you’ll find to eat. Gateway feels like going to my mom‘s house (if she hired a decorator and a chef). Friendly staff, welcoming environment, diverse menu variety (try a specialty drink) Absolutely love it! Highly recommend - Five Stars all the way!

I waited 30 minutes for a croissant with egg and cheese, only for it to be served with bacon, to which I am allergic. After informing the staff, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the correct order. Waiting a total of 50 minutes for two croissants with egg and cheese is unacceptable.

I'm from Bucks County, PA and was hear visiting cousins in South Williamsport and then riding the Pine Creek Trail. After a nice 20 mile ride Googled lunch in Jersey Shore and blindly chose Gateway as it was open . I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance and the quality of the Cobb salad. Beautifully prepared and filled with excellent ingredients with a very nice poppy seed dressing.
