My wing dings were 90%fat and my french fries were gross. I simply won’t go back. I grew up eating there. It’s sad that the quality is so poor. I wish I could share the photo of my fries.

If you are looking for the worst meal of your life, then dine at The Venture Inn. They had one waitress taking care of both the bar and entire dining room. I felt bad for her as she working her butt off. Dinners took 40 minutes even though the place was less than half full. The burgers were past well done and served with cold French fries. My scallop and shrimp dish consisted of 3 quarter-sized scallops and 3 small shrimp. I looked up at the waitress like this was a joke.

This place is very cool, log cabin inside, it's beautiful and very clean. The server/bartender (i think Katie) was awesome, such a sweetheart, and super helpful with everything. The food was pretty good better than basic bar food for sure. Large menu of options, drinks were great!

I love Trivia Wednesdays but the food needs upgraded. I will eat before I come to trivia. Steaks are never cooked right. Flatbreads are soggy. Bacon wrapped scallops were 10 dime sized scallops deep fried, very dry and expensive. Wisconsin cheese soup was condensed right out of the can with no reconstitution. Mixed drink specials are watered down. I feel bad for this place, they could do so much better.

First time here. Waitress was friendly, service was great and the food was delicious. Cute country setting, has outside dining but with this heat wave we stayed in. Would highly recommend this place. Oh and the prices are reasonable.

I have been going to the Venture Inn for years. A couple of guys and I stopped in a couple of days ago. Everybody's food looked and tasted good. Our waiter was pleasant but did mess up one guys order of no onions. Not a big deal though. The prices have been going up but, depending on what you order it's still reasonable. I would recommend the Venture Inn for folks who want to go to a nice family friendly restaurant and bar.
