I've been eating gobs since I was very young. I moved away in the 80's but my family always made sure they bought them for me when I came in for the holidays. Then they started to get hard to find. I was panicking lol! Now, I can order them by the case and freeze them. Thank you Dutch Maid. You're keeping my childhood alive. ❤️

When my husband was about 4 years old in 1971, his Great Grandma Ensley turned him on to his first Gob. We have made, until this year, at least one trip annually to Johnstown and went Gob hunting. This year, we ordered them online. They came less than a week later, packed neatly, were FRESH, too! Thank you, Yost Bakery for making an awesome Birthday present for my husband!

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Not too far from Johnstown after leaving for the Marine Corps And moving to Missouri I missed these gobd so much. My recent order got lost by the postal service and their customer service was also tracking it and reached out to me via email and sent me out two dozen fresh gobs. I have never had such good customer service from a company in my life. Thank you guys so much for all your help, great products, and you're caring staff.

Was so excited to get the dozen we ordered but was disappointed when I opened the box and they were flattened. Whoever boxed them didn’t do a great job. Need to do better at that price!

I recently received my order for Gobs. It came quickly and the contents were fresh. Lordy... these things are still as good as I remember from 4 decades ago. Thanks so much for satisfying that yearning from my childhood. You guys rock!!

Bought a Dutch Maid Bakery Chocolate cake with Peanut Butter Icing. I am very fussy about chocolate cake. This was very delicious and I buy again!

Prompt reply to a message sent, concerning their ongoing operations. "Hi, We have only been delivering to Giant Eagle Broad St and Richland. I'm not sure which one you checked but both of those locations receive Gobs at least 4 times a week (excluding Wednesday's and Sunday's). Em's Subs varies by location. Market Basket receives the most product so it may be your best option for Gobs if you are able to go there. We deliver there every day except Sunday & Wednesday. If you are in the Westmont area, we deliver to Westmont Drug and Clark's but the quantity and frequency varies. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Sincerely, Ashley Yost Dutch Maid Bakery, Accounts Receivable" I was under the impression that Yost/Dutch Maid was shut down because of the pandemic. Now, I'm going out to find those gobs, which they are still making and send a batch to my niece in California.

I was a little down and out of sorts today, then a surprise package showed up without a return address. It had the best surprise ever! It was full of your gobs. It had a note inside "Heard you might like these. Enjoy" I thank the sender, I loved them!

The gobs are the best whopper pies can't compare to these cakes lived in Cresson when I was a kid and the man used to come to the door with his tray full of cakes and pies always bought the gobs now we live down close to Philly and don't get them unless we go up to Altoona I don't know why they don't distribute them down this way I know they would sell out

I've been eating Yost gobs and raisin filled cookies since my dad carried them into the mines. He would always save one for me when he came out. I'm 71 now and they are still part of my good memories.

Love me some gobs! I just tried to order via mail but was told reduction in production and only local accounts will be filled. I'd pay in advance but no luck. I hope they stay in business. I love gobs
