Easily one of the least friendly places in Johnstown. Here on a conference and the people have been amazing...until now. Walked in and asked what she would recommend and she said, "Depends on what you like" and had the nastiest attitude. I asked if Mac and cheese was homemade and she told me it was frozen and that cheese "cost too much". TRULY horrific. I suspected all the food is frozen and sure enough, my order looked like something out of a bag. Do NOT go to this place.

It's a nice little place. I love fish and I have never been here so I decided to stop in one day and it didn't disappoint. Fish is real clean tasting, not fishy......I got a nice size sandwich and the prices were very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant itself has a vintage look to it. Very nice place to dine. Went back several times to eat.

The owner of this restaurant is very nice and can tell he is genuinely enthusiastic about serving you a great meal. The restaurant is unbelievably clean and spotless, and the fish and fries are the best I've had. The pieroghis are homemade and a must try! I grew up here and unfortunately just discovered this gem, I tell everyone to try the Fish Boat!

I approach the business, hoping the owner would consider discussing a business venture. I am a pastry chef and the owner of a gourmet bakery my bakery in the state of Florida was on cupcake wars on the Food Network and we won first place in my product is sought after, and I have five star reviews on my Facebook @cupcakes on Main, the owner told me he wasn’t interested I was too old and never even let me finish speaking before he told me pretty much to leave his store. Kind of funny how things work out, my items will be sold down the road at a coffee shop opening up in Johnstown and working on a storefront in Windber. So if you want a nice person the owner of this establishment is not itParking: Very limited front parking

Stumbled across this place by accident and thought it looked interesting. We ordered the soup of the day (cream of crab) and the fish bowl. AmazIng! Fresh, hot, cooked to order. Me and my 2 little 1s enjoyed it. Best chips too! Thank you :)

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!!! My entire experience was horrible! I called to place a to go order and the lady was very rude and kept rushing me. When I got there to pick up my order the employees were yelling at each other and if they would of smiled, I think their faces might of cracked! I got scolded because I was there 10 minutes early to pick up my order, I asked if I could pay and wait and received an attitude about that. While I was waiting a poor old man walked up to the counter and was looking at the menu...the man who I presume is the owner....looked and him and barked "SPEAK!" The 3 employees were rude to each and every customer that walked in. I could not wait to get out of there. I've never experienced customer service like that in my life! To make matters even worse...the food was TERRIBLE!!!! I got chicken tenders, fries and mac & cheese. I received 3 tiny tenders, a itsy bitsy cup of mac & cheese and a few undercooked fries. My co-workers got the fish sandwiches. They were small and I asked for tartar sauce which we did not receive. Save yourself some time and dignity and DO NOT visit this place!!!
