I was just denied coffee while being a passenger with a friend. I just moved to Johnstown in October but apparently there was a recent situation with some other African Americans in the area and for some reason I was not served although not having any involvement or relation to the situation. Very strange encounter seeing as I have been served coffee here before.

Good Dagwood sandwich and cool vibe. Very enjoyable local shop. Would return if in town again.

My go to for new places is always a chicken salad sandwich, and I must say I give the flood city cafe the credit for having the best. The sandwich tasted homemade and the croissant was beyond crispy but also the right amount of fresh. The macaroni could use more cheese but also tasted very fresh and homemade. Lastly the ice coffee we got was a 10/10. I’ve tried a lot of coffee and yet again, this coffee would probably be one of my favorites I’ve ever tried. Definitely recommend stopping by. Great energy from staff and beautiful cafe.

Breakfast burrito was delicious, staff was super kind, loved the cozy atmosphere, their coffee special was really tasty a blueberry latte. Have had their quesadillas before too and they were really good.

Followed a suggestion of Mac and cheese and chili. It was watery. Steer me clear of bad food. Coffee isn't that good either.

Cozy, friendly and yummy. Perfect ingredients for a great start to the day. The breakfast sandwiches were very fresh and generous, so much so that we could have easily shared one and been satisfied. The fireplace was a welcoming accompaniment to the chilly weather and the staff was accommodating and cheerful. I would definitely visit again when in the area.
