Was not impressed with this restaurant.

The food is very good. And filling. I recommend the Italian on toasted white bread, it's different and delicious. Great service.

We eat at Jakes pretty often. Tonight I ordered a Steak Burger with onion rings. When I got my dish, it included these 6 small and very uniform onion rings. They were not real onion rings. What I got did not taste at all like onion rings. They were tasteless. And their was an upcharge. I asked to speak to the manager who refused to come out to speak to me about the onion rings. Not sure I will ever go back since the manager would not address my issue. What a shame.

I actually love the restaurant. But we were just told to leave after we sat down because we brought Happy Meals from McDonald’s for our 2 boys. It was pretty embarrassing considering I’ve been here dozens of times. We’ve also been to several restaurants where we brought separate food for our kids because well, they’re kids and they’re picky, sorry. I understand the no outside food policy, but come on. Safe to say it’s a moment my wife and I would like to never relive, and we’ll never come back. For what it’s worth we like the food and atmosphere, but that was humiliating for me and my family

I ordered the French Dip and it was DELICIOUS! It will now be my “go to” favorite. I’m not a foodie or big eater (couldn’t finish it), but looking forward to the next one!

Wife and I chose to give this place a try and right from the get-go there were Indications that this was going to be a good choice. The reviews were good and I saw the wings were recommended numerous times. As we approached the entrance a couple in their 50's we're leaving and I asked if this was a good place to eat. The Answer was an absolute yes and they informed us they came and ate here every weekend.

As we entered I saw that this place was booming and I stead of waiting for a table we chose to sit at the bar to enjoy a drink and eat there. Our bartender and server was Jen and the service she provided was perfect. She acknowledged our presence and told us she would be right with us momentarily. Our drinks were served right away and she gave us a minute to go over the menu. My wife chose the French Dip with au jus and homemade chips. I knew I wanted wings but asked for recommendations on which flavor. She recommended the only flavor that was abbreviated and it was something like I.G.B.R. (garlic butter ranch or something like that) so that's what I got. Jen was ahead of what we needed always by one step, for example after I started eating wings I quickly went through my napkins and when I needed another napkin I noticed she had somehow put more napkins down while my attention was elsewhere. Just when my wife was done eating, Jen brought a to go box without needing to ask. Always one step ahead even though it was very busy. She was very friendly and it provided a nice small town atmosphere and vibe. Thank you, Jen.

The wings were the best wings I have had since Charleston, SC. I definitely recommend the flavor mentioned earlier. My wife's French Dip was out of this world the Au Jus was so flavorful and even the homemade chips were so good I couldn't stop eating them.

When the bill came, I was surprised at how Affordable everything was, less than $30 for both meals and two drinks.

I now understand why the Couple we had talked to on our way in come here every weekend. I find myself wanting to go back to try all the other things they have on their menu. Jakes finds itself with ANOTHER couple who will be coming back, weekend after weekend.

I implore you to give Jakes a try and after you do, I will see you there on the weekends!

The pot roast potato skins are to die for however, the 89° they keep their dining room at, they're overly busy waitresses that couldn't even keep up with the demand of the packed restaurant along with finding literal shards of a wooden spoon in my main course meal that we waited over an hour for is not worth the price of going and getting these potato skins.

Mostly bar food. But some of the best bar food I've ever had. Attention to detail is important and they have the best beer batter fries I've ever had. Also the waitresses in short shorts is kind of tough to argue with.

I wish I could remember our waitress name. We visited on Thursday May 16th around 3:15pm.The food was great. They didn't skimp on my pizza toppings, brewed ice tea, everything just great!
