We decided to try Ortega's for the first time today and it was amazing. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all so different and so delicious. Portions are huge. We will definitely be ordering again.

Stopped by last week. Tried beef carnitas, papa rellenos, pastelitos and chicken empanadas. It’s hard to pick a favorite because they were all excellent. They each have their own distinctive, wonderful flavors. The pastelitos are a mix of savory and sweet. I really recommend them. I’m attaching some photos also. If you haven’t been there it’s a must do when you’re in Johnstown! My family honestly can’t wait till I go back. It’s in a cute location, very clean and the people are awesome! I highly recommend stopping by!

The Cuban sandwich is the best I’ve ever had, and that is saying something because I’ve had plenty. The plantains are a perfect follow up. If you have not eaten from here I cannot urge you enough to try it. It is an absolute gem of Johnstown that shouldn’t remain hidden.

Got the Cubano for lunch today and it was absolutely fantastic. The juicy tender pork on this sandwich was really good and flavorful. Definitely will be back for more.

Staff was great, atmosphere very nice. We had the cubano sandwich, beef empanadas and beans and rice. All steaming hot and very delicious!! Amazing flavor. We were just sorry they were out of the potato balls! We will have to go earlier next time. Very reasonably priced too

Authentic Cuban-American cuisine. The Piccador wrap had seasoned ground beef, rice, and green olives stuffed with pimento. Tasty! The Cuban Hamburger featured a plump burger sitting in sliced ham and draped in melted pepper jack cheese.

Great authentic Cuban cuisine. Small location, but very clean and well decorated. They play great cuban music and have wonderful outdoor seating that has scenic beauty to it. Cuban coffee, Cubano sandwiches, and empanadas were all excellent.

You don't expect this type of delicious Cuban food in Johnstown but it's here! The empanadas are so light and begging for a dab of hot sauce. The ropa viejo is well spiced and tender. Even the basic beans and rice are packed with flavor. The cubano sandwich has a really nice touch of sweetness that balances out the salty ham. Definitely check it out!

I love this new spot in Johnstown. Been trying to stop here for a while but on our way back to ny we finally made it and it was so worth it. The Cuban got chocolate is awesome the Cuban coffee was exceptional. This will be on our list of must haves when we come to town.
