We decided to try Ortega's for the first time today and it was amazing. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all so different and so delicious. Portions are huge. We will definitely be ordering again.
Stopped by last week. Tried beef carnitas, papa rellenos, pastelitos and chicken empanadas. It’s hard to pick a favorite because they were all excellent. They each have their own distinctive, wonderful flavors. The pastelitos are a mix of savory and sweet. I really recommend them. I’m attaching some photos also. The Cuban sandwich is the best I’ve ever had, and that is saying something because I’ve had plenty. The plantains are a perfect follow up. If you have not eaten from here I cannot urge you enough to try it. It is an absolute gem of Johnstown that shouldn’t remain hidden.
