Food was okay, but service was non-existant. Went on a Thursday, for my daughter's birthday (her request). It was a small party (8 people, 3 of whom were children); we were seated, drinks taken, we wrote our orders for their buffet offer.. but we never saw them after the food arrived.No refills, no offer for a second order (on a buffet offer!), no checking in, no offer for desert (which they do have!), *nothing*. I'm a pretty generous and forgiving person when it comes to service industry and restaurant staff, but this was egregiously bad. The restaurant was barely busy, maybe 3 other parties tops. We were handed our checks and promptly ignored until we paid (weren't told how to even pay, we had to take the receipt to the cash register ourselves).At $30 for a buffet as an adult, and nearly $20 for children, and also being warned that excess NOT EATEN food will be charged extra, you'd think we'd be given more opportunities to order, so that we can manage our appetites more effectively. Nope. I left hungry, $70 poorer and nothing to show for it. I feel like I just got scammed.Kid-friendliness: The children were ignored like everyone else.

Definitely not a 4.5. Not even close, and not on a Tuesday , much less a Friday. Flavor was low quality/forgettable, presentation was very boring/sterile, and service was very poor.Cleanliness and proper food storage and handling were questionable.We wanted to like our more but the whole experience was just "eh".. I probably won't go back unless someone else's choice.I hope there is a better Sushi place somewhere near here!??

A hiddem gem! Sushi is high quality and a contender for best in the area. It is not always easy to find fresh fish in small town but Osaka is great! Good deals which is nice to see since sushi can be so pricy. Clean place and friendly people!

The two rolls and pork gyoza I had were delicious! I didn't get a picture of the pot stickers because I started eating them right away. Service was very good too. The plates were pretty and the decor was very pleasing. I will return if I stay in the area again and recommend this place for sushi!

I came here for the first time with my friend last week and it was awesome! The food was delicious and the owner and our waiter were both very friendly. We came back here for dinner today and, again, everything was great! We will definitely keep coming back!

Best sushi I've had in Johnstown. Place across the street that serves sushi up the hill costs 3 times as much and the food is not prepared right. OSAKA is great by comparison. So cheers to them for doing it

Lots of options if you aren't sure what you'll like, including suchi, hibachi, and even some Thai options. I had the pineapple fried rice and it was a huge plate, and delicious.Vegetarian options: Most meals had a vegetarian option.

The hot tea and appetizer were phenomenal. The tea was unique and tasted of toasted sesame. The appetizer special was the jalapeño bomb with crab. It's one of the best things I've ever tasted. That being said, my husband's sushi was okay (except for the eel, which looked a little dry and tasted a little fishy), and my Chinese brown sauce was kind of one note. Service was excellent but slow. Like many other places, they were short-staffed.

Really had a nice lunch here with my sister and will definitely return. There are alot of options on the menu. The server took extra care to ask the cook if there was a certain ingredient in a soup we asked about that there was an allergy to without us even asking. We got vegetarian hibitachi and the taste was delicious! Best tasting hibachi I've had in town. Was served hot and very clean presentation. It's a nice little place and decorated inside with a sushi counter in the front where they prepare the sushi.
