This was my first time eating Panera. It was average. The counter staff was unfriendly and spoke to the customer in front of us like they were idiots so we opted to just use the kiosk. The staff spent more time having "girl time" in the lobby with their friends that came in and out.
Our food was ok, at best. The bacon Mac and cheese was just Mac and cheese with no more than a tablespoon of bacon on top. My sandwich was ok, no complaints. My bf got a soup and it had that "straight from the can" taste. His sandwich was ok as well. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie too, and it looked like someone punched it about 6x before bagging it. I will say that I liked it the best though.
So to sum it all up-
*condescending staff that would rather mingle in the lobby. The guys making the food were doing what they were supposed to.
*Mid-average food.
*High prices for what you get.

I ordered a chicken avocado sandwich...chunks of chicken, very little avocado.
Kid-friendliness: My grandchildren love to eat there, yummy mac.n.cheese.

The people working register need to do their jobs better. Paying attention to the work and not just talking to each other about boys and school. My order sat getting cold while these girls just talked away. And then when I asked about my food they laughed it off. Terrible customer service. When I called the manager she barely apologized and didn't try to say or do anything to remedy the problem. They need
re-trained.

Love the restaurant, but the manager seemed to be”inconvenienced” by having to actually take my order vs me entering it in.
Sorry, but that’s your job Tiffany!
Do better, try smiling ?

Panera used to be one of my favorite spots. Service has really declined. The portions have also gotten smaller and prices have gone through the roof.

Not even remote affordable anymore. The food quality has also diminished. Panera was never great, but it was consistent. Now it's just consistently mediocre.

There new menu is lacking a lot of variety. The quality is there but serving size is guessable.. The breakfast menu has decreased along with smaller bagels and a smaller pastries selection
