Been living nearby for about two years, but this is the first time I stopped by. Huge inside! Looks tiny from outside. Quite the optical illusion. Great service. Really wonderful Reuben and 'house' chips. Extremely good value. Want to try other items on the menu. Location in a dying shopping center doesn't help, and not really visible from Scalp road. Hope they continue to survive, and they can count on my continued patronage!
We eat here often but today was awful.. the waitress came took order and didn't see her for 30 minutes..young man brought our chicken dinners and chicken was barely warm so I'm guessing it was done just not picked up..had to hunt down waitress for a box and our bill and asked for the take out we ordered an HR b4 at the register..shw came back and said im sorry..cook said we are out of pork chops.. the man after us went to pay his bill and had no bill either as he wasn't...
The Corner Coffee Shoppe is a hidden gem! I've been there several times and the food is always fantastic: breakfast is superb, their meatloaf is super tasty and the ham pot pie is delicious!
