I've been wanting to go for beef tips and noodles. Such a let down. Such a small portion and the beef tips were hard to chew and tasteless. Also, I ordered the Irish stew. It was cold and there was about a measuring cup of soup. I cannot believe I paid $12 for that!!!! I was in shock or I would've told her to take it back. Had to stand around far too long before someone told us to sit wherever. The service was so slow. Never got salt and pepper--had to find my own. Waited too long for a refill. No napkins brought with dessert. I won't go back.

Used to go to the crows nest in years past when I spent a lot of time in bars. My wife daughter and I went for dinner tonight and were very disappointed. The server was new but she was nice, no problem there other than normal things you deal with a new server. The mixed drinks we got contained little alcohol and weren’t good but that’s a crapshoot at most places anyway (plus I think our new server made them).Where we were really disappointed was the food! It used to be good! Wife and I both ordered steaks, rare. They were both medium/medium well and almost too salty to eat. And for a $26 steak it was really thin and just seemed like even less quality than the something you would get at a low grade steak place like Applebees. Not to mention the side baked potato was undercooked for both of us. We each had to ask for sour cream and when we took a bite of the potato with it we realized the sour cream was spoiled and tasted like mold! We each ordered lobster bisque which was okay I guess but tasted like it was straight out of a giant tub of premade soup, no chunks of anything in it, basically just thick broth. Not like it used to be 5 years ago. For a $100 on a meal, you should go somewhere elseI would give it less stars but I used to frequent this place a lot and it was great and the owners were very nice, maybe this was just a fluke so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt

Just left the Crowe’s Nest. Saddened by our experience. What happened to the Crowe’s Nest? Use to be excellent! The soup was burnt and not edible. There was an up charge for sides that were told to be included and an up charge to blacken salmon, again not communicated. Use to be one of our favorite places to eat! Extremely expensive now and small portions. Will not be recommending to friends. ?

The brisket is to die for, especially with the homemade mashed potatoes and gravy!! The owner is a great, down to Earth guy that serves with a smile and loves making specialty drinks.

Retaurant/bar in a rural area. They should stick to the BAR part of the business. We stopped for lunch after paddling Stoney Creek. Our server seemed more interested in running to her car to make phone calls than paying attention to us. Very slow service, with bare minimum effort. My food (burger) was horribly over cooked. The server never asked how I wanted it cooked. Others in our group weren't expressing any compliments when they were eating. So I assume nothing was all that great. BOO!

I love going to the crows nest, I like the bar atmosphere there.I recently went there for dinner, I thought the onion rings that I ordered were over priced at $8 for a small basket also I ordered a side of Cole slaw that came in a small plastic cup that I was charged $3.50 for, it should of been like $1.50 . I'm not sure what's going on there, I hope they don't get too over priced for what they are serving.
