The Morning Grind Coffee House

Stopped in for a hot oatmilk latte with Irish cream syrup. They have a variety of Torani syrups to choose from. My drink was hot and tasty. I would return again if I was in the area.

We flew in from Arizona and was recommended this place from a family member and it was such an awesome spot for breakfast! I definitely recommend the banana pancake iced coffee and the breakfast sandwich on a asiago bagel.

They have the best fresh ground coffee. I always buy a pound when I stop.

Variety of flavors…both coffee and teas. Friendly atmosphere. Comfortable, relaxing seating for those long conversations or drive through for those days you’re in a hurry!

So there’s a large menu board behind the cashier. I ordered a large drink that is 3:30 on the menu. The cashier charged me 4.00. I complained but was told that the menu is old😡

Waited in the drive-thru line for more than 5 minutes. Then, to speed up the process, we pulled around and went inside. The man at the counter took my order and forgot about the muffin I ordered for my child and took more than 5 mins to make a smoothie. He made the coffee for all the other people who ordered behind me and then finished my order. Coffee tasts burnt. I was really disappointed as I have not had such customer service experience in the past.

Incredibly friendly staff, wonderful layout with even better coffee. They have mugs too, which is reason enough to come here. If you want small town charm, look no further!

My husband and I stopped for an impromptu morning coffee date and were very pleased with our order. He got a black cherry coffee with espresso and I got a PSL. We also ordered a bagel as well as a breakfast sandwich. We were surprised by the cost that we actually thought he missed part of our order. Everything was great! We are newer to Johnstown and could feel the “local coffee spot” vibe from within. My husband and I agree that we will make this our new coffee spot and skip the DD line from now on. We cannot wait to try more flavors!

Just cute! This coffee house used to be a bank, so the vault is very unique...just like their name of Morning Grind. Drive by and the place is always packed, but the wait is always minimal. There are many seats, a fireplace and couch, along with a big back room with a large table and chairs. Delicious coffee and an amazing atmosphere definitely fuel my addiction. I have a friend from California who loves this place....I think that says a lot!

i got the chai latte with almond milk and caramel and it was the bomb!! def recommend this place to anyone traveling in johnstown and if they wanna go somewhere for breakfast
