My husband and I stopped for an impromptu morning coffee date and were very pleased with our order. He got a black cherry coffee with espresso and I got a PSL. We also ordered a bagel as well as a breakfast sandwich. We were surprised by the cost that we actually thought he missed part of our order. Everything was great! We are newer to Johnstown and could feel the “local coffee spot” vibe from within. My husband and I agree that we will make this our new coffee spot and skip...
Just cute! This coffee house used to be a bank, so the vault is very unique...just like their name of Morning Grind. Drive by and the place is always packed, but the wait is always minimal. There are many seats, a fireplace and couch, along with a big back room with a large table and chairs. Delicious coffee and an amazing atmosphere definitely fuel my addiction. I have a friend from California who loves this place....I think that says a lot!
The Morning Grind in Johnstown, PA, is a delightful little coffee shop that’s perfect for a cozy stop along the road. The service was exceptionally friendly, making us feel right at home. The coffee was absolutely delicious, hitting just the right notes. Although the bakery selection isn’t extensive, it offers a nice variety. Our blueberry muffin would have been even better warmed up, but it was still quite good. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend!
