I had a breaded chicken salad which was delicious. It seems they pay a lot of attention to detail and presentation, unusual for a tavern. A little disappointed they did not have any dark beer or strong ales on draft.

Tried to buy food at Windber miners day. They showed up late to prepare then were rude when people asked if they were selling food. One would think if you are going to a festival you would be ready to serve food by noon.

Got the famous chicken ball. It wasn't quite what I was expecting with the outer crust being a little tough and less crispy. Not bad, mixed opinions. Workers and locals are nice and let me know of all the cool things in the area
