Just had Tire Hill Taco in Johnstown and wow — what a hidden gem. It’s a small, family-run place with a short menu, but everything we tried was incredible.
Handmade tortillas! The rice and black beans were full of flavor. We got one of each taco and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite — they were all so good. The pork had these crispy edges that were just perfect.
The chicken empanada was house-made, super crispy, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they care about what they’re making.
If you’re anywhere near Johnstown, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Highly recommend.

My son and I visited Tire Hill Taco recently and were blown away by the great quality homemade food!! I had a rice bowl and my son had a burrito and empanadas. Yum!!
We live 1 1/2 hours away but would def make the trip for a repeat!!
Owner was super friendly and helpful. He had the sweetest little girl.

Tire Hill Taco is aaaaamazing!! The owner puts his heart and soul into his business. The food is phenomenal and fresh. Customer service is on point and friendly. Dare I say? Yes, I do....they are better than Chipotle. I've been here many times and have ordered different things. I was not disappointed at all. I will continue to enjoy everything there is to offer at Tire Hill Taco. I HIGHLY suggest eating here.

Great food, made fresh daily. The man works hard in his restaurant to put out quality, healthy and tasty food, at a decent price.I stop by several times a week for a burrito(or 2), you should too. Oh, and the kids will put a smile on your face. I highly recommend Tire Hill Taco.
