Sub roll was dry. Only saw 3 thin slices of meat for $23. Never again. Used to be good.

I have fond memories of this sub shop growing up...was back in town and staying nearby so had to try it again. Maybe it was an off day, but my sub was lackluster. The bread didn't have much flavor and there were not many meats/cheeses. Sad face!

I hadn’t had Tony’s Subs in some time. I have a Business in Roxbury as well. I heard they had a new Owner. I tried it and was very impressed! The bread was fresh and the sub was packed full of meats and veggies! The following week my staff put in an order for lunch. I tried the cold Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was DELICIOUS! The new extended hours are very convenient to stop in after work and bring food home. I’ve been told the Pizza is good, we are gonna try that next!

New owners, new food quality... improved service. Ordered subs for a picnic, all good for us.
I ordered a Italian 22 inch sub, they didn't put the salami or the provolone cheese on. I didn't find this out till I was already home. All the sub had was cheap ham and lettuce, pickles, sweet peppers, tomatoes and oil. The sub was soggy also! I wasted 16 dollars and change for this garbage. I have been going here since the 80s. It is nothing like the old school people and Tony that started this business. What a shame that these young kids can care less how to treat a customer!!! I wouldn't recommend going to Tony's subs!!

We wanted to try a local place and we were extremely disappointed. As soon as we walked in, we took our time looking over the menu. The lady at the register was very agitated that we had not decided within the 30 seconds we were in the store. She slammed her hands onto the counter when we said we still were looking over the menu, mind you, there was no line and no other customers in the store. We tried to be nice to her and she consistently gave us dirty looks and an attitude. We will not return.

used to live in johnstown moved to va. 40 years ago since retired wife and i drive 3 hours to get those subs every 3 months as that was are eating place when we were datingParking: street parking allways avail

Asked for 3 slices of pizza and we're dead cold, went back to let the staff know which they already knew for being sitting out of the oven for over God knows how long but they were super cold and I asked to have it heated up but it only got from winter cold to room temperature. Bad service or was more of a customer's aperiance. Who knows because not even an apology was given pretty much the staff didn't even care. But thank you anyway.

$10.80 for a small burger and slice of cold dried out pizza. I'll never go back there again. I know price of everything is going up but this is ridiculous.
