Overall, the food was good. Service was very polite and friendly with a smile. Was there around 7:30pm. Bought the combo, chicken sandwich, Mac & cheese, biscuits, bbq sauce, and bought an apple pie. It was just under $12. Pros & cons list. Chicken sandwich Pro: Tasted good Con: was pre-made in bag under heat lamp, pickles needed more flavor, the chicken was sized for a slider, not a reg bun. Biscuit Pro: It did have a slightly moist, light buttery flavor and was ok. Con: It did have a slightly doughy taste but that can happen depending depending on how they are arranged on the sheet. Mac & Cheese. Pro: Really fantastic. Great cheesy flavor and loads of creamy cheese. Con: Just not enough. It was a 6 oz cup but not packed in, so 5-5.5 ozs. Apple pie. Pro: Good flavor with a crispy, lightly sugared sprinkling on the crust. Con: It needs more filling. At least 50% more. Atmosphere Really, it's in the middle of a truck stop. Add a tv with the local news a weather and instar Atmosphere. For now, it is what it is. 🤷 There could be more parking spaces.

Wow! Bought the fried gizzards and fried livers on a whim! MAN THEY DID NOT DISAPOINT! Perfect seasoning! Those goodies lasted me for miles as I headed to SC. Had to catch them again on the way north back to NY. The chicken is delicious. This is a permanent stop for me between NY & SC.

Bought a 8 piece there 2 weeks ago before going to ride atv's at around 10:30 or ll am . The chicken taste spoiled . Mashed potatoes taste ok .

Never in my life have I experienced such a disappointing, soul-crushing, and wretched meal. Beyond the outdated gas station ambience, the food itself was abysmal. One would have to go out of their way to make chicken this bad- the serving sizes were comically small, and the chicken was extremely dry and overcooked. A meal at KFC or Popeyes would seem to be Michelin-star level if compared to the things that are being served at this Chester’s.
This establishment is an embarrassment to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I’ll forever mourn the loss of the $15 or so dollars that I spent there.

Chester’s chicken was the only place that was open on Christmas Day. We certainly enjoyed the tenders, mashed potatoes and the moist biscuits. Thank you for the warm meal and opening the restaurant on Christmas Day.

Went into the Love's at 910 am. Two employees behind the counter, the bin FULL of prepared food. I was told "We aren't open until 10" and they wouldn't sell me anything. So they will leave prepared chicken sit in the bin for over an hour before serving. Glad I dodged that bullet.

Food was awful. They were out of stock of what I originally wanted and said that they’d been out of it for days. Then when I asked for something else they said they had it but they went right over to the next room and got it off one of the hot shelves. The food they gave me looked like it had been on that shelf for awhile because the bun was almost as hard as a rock, the chicken was soggy and not crunchy whatsoever, and the pickles on the sandwich looked like they were going bad. I’m not one for writing reviews but that type of thing can’t be overlooked even if it is fast food.
