This is a country bar, a rural PA dive bar, juke joint. It's not fancy, but people were friendly, and the bathroom was clean, and the Straub Lager was fresh and cold. The location, right on the bank of the West Branch of the Susquehanna by an iron truss bridge, is picturesque, but you wouldn't know that from inside!
Unfortunately, just as I had to leave, six guys walked in, clearly regulars, and I'd have liked to hear that conversation. Next time.

The beer is cold and that's about it. If you go here for food be flexible on what you want. The majority of the time they don't have 25% or more of the items on the menu. Like I said to have a couple of drinks it is a good place with a good crowd.

Every time I visit this place the service and atmosphere are top notch. It's a fun bar to visit out in the middle of nowhere. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through.
