The Whiskey Creek Chop Steak was the best steak I’ve ever had in my life… Served with two sides for only $15.99, the steak was not only super easy to cut but super tasty as well. I got corn & mashed potatoes for a side and paired it all with a Sam Adams Winter Lager on draft…. Needless to say I left there a happy man. The rustic old school country vibe of the place is welcoming and comfortable. I will be back for a beer and another steak soon! Thank you.

I have no words for this place. There was slimy gunk at the bottom of tea water container, cauliflower something on top of shrimp and steak was disgraceful, the roast beef was not even edible. However the sweet potato fries were really good. Oh, and the waitstaff was lame also, but that’s not her fault. Lack of proper training was apparent.

Excellent Food and Service. Our server was fun and the obvious local regulars were friendly. The kind of place you can go to and immediately be accepted and the U shaped bar invites conversation with everyone. The Sauteed Perogies were very tasty, I had the Pepperoni Pizza Burger and my wife had the Taco Salad which was large enough to be shareable... We brought half of it back to our rental for tomorrow's lunch!

The Kempton Hotel Restaurant was a completely awesome experience! The small town atmosphere of the restaurant and bar was really cool and we are already planning a trip back to Kempton for the 150 year celebration. Once we ordered our food in the restaurant, we walked through the bar area to look at the painted mural on the ceiling. Local and American history scenes cover the entire ceiling. After chatting with a couple of the locals, we sat down and ate our meal. Really loved the cheese fries with cheddar and bacon. Also enjoyed the pork and sauerkraut, a Pennsylvania Dutch favorite. Exceptional food for a great price. Our waitress was professional, friendly and told us a little about the history of the hotel. What a great place just a short drive from Kutztown University.

The bar at Kempton Hotel was one of our favorite stops on our road trip from San Diego, CA, to Calais, Maine. The service was excellent, and they all made us feel welcome. The food was delicious - BBQ pork fries, Dutch fries, and steamed clams. Best of all, the patrons were a fun crowd. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you visit them.

Love old hotels for the charm. The service was okay but the food lacked flavor. Turkey was dry, very little gravy and meatloaf was also dry could have used some gravy as well. We would try again but maybe pub food rather than dinner.

This restaurant is a gem. Very tasty meal and excellent service. You can get a fancy meal in a warm, comfortable environment. We enjoyed the Valentines special menu. The flavors exceeded our expectations. First time having a Valentine in ages. We will share many more meals here.
