Went there today for lunch and almost everything that all of us ordered was terrible! I had shrimp cocktail which were still somewhat frozen but warm on the outside, obviously heated up in hot water. Wife and aunt had hog maw with chewy disgusting maw and way undercooked vegetables. I also had gross rubbery wings that look and taste like they were cooked in a microwave, and without a doubt the worst long island and old fashioned I've ever had in my life. 🤢 I'm not...
I’ve only been to the Kempton Hotel a couple times. First as a kid with my dad who grew up in the area, and now recently with my daughter. Even after all these years, the food, service, and atmosphere are still what I remembered. The cheesesteak was a standout. It’s may be a bit of a ride for us, but it sure was worth it. Great memories made here then and now. Will stop again when we are in the area.
