Don’t believe Diana below me… there is a reason this place has been in business for 20+ years here in king of Prussia and also survived the covid pandemic as a local mom and pop. The food is excellent. From their giant and flavorful salad options to the gourmet pizzas, and quality steak for that true taste of famous Philly cheese steaks, everything is made fresh. This old style pizza shop that makes their own dough and delicious garlic breadsticks among many other in house made ingredients really stands out to the competition. My favorite for dessert is the strawberry milkshake, I have never had such a delicious strawberry ice cream than the one I found here and I need to know where they are getting it! With the variety of options on this menu and the flexibility with substitutions or additions to orders there is literally something for everyone. Whether you’re vegetarian vegan or on a keto diet they have a ton of options and bread free types of dishes. The owner, George has been working in restaurants for over 50 years since he came to this country from Greece. He is truly astounding and i think deserves a lot of respect for coming such a long way and still absolutely killing it. If gyros are your thing I highly suggest giving these a shot with some extra tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping! Lamb, pork, or chicken gyros all available which is an honest treat because many places I’ve frequented where I’ve found gyros only offer them one specific way. Often I am greeted by a nice smile and a friendly hello upon arrival. Make sure to call before the 5 o’clock rush the earlier you get your order in the quicker it’s ready, obviously this being standard at any restaurant whether it’s a dine in place or mostly for take out like this gem here. I gave five stars for atmosphere just because even though a bit dated this is a place i feel welcomed and taken care of (and obviously the food is great) Im not a go out to fine dining type of person in that flashy chandeliers and all black attire wearing college students do not impress me whatsoever. This place has a vibe to it that resonates well with someone who has been there and also worked for what they have. Several occasions we have ordered delivery from George whether it was inclement weather or we were just too tired. The delivery times can fluctuate depending upon business for the evening however George or his son who also works there have always quoted me a 45 minute to 1 hour window which for me is reasonable because that’s about how long it would take me to cook my own food, and that doesn’t include cleanup. 95% of the time they are either ahead of or right smack dab in the middle with their promised delivery. Few cases can I think of where we have waited more than 1 hour though only ever a few minutes past when that happened. We also live a few miles from the shop so we understand how it can go. We’ve called before embarrassingly to ask if the driver had left and we’ve been told he should be there only to hear a knock on our front door that very second lol oops. The delivery drivers are always very polite, professional, and some even tell you item by item what they are giving you to verify your order’s accuracy. I like that in a delivery service. I don’t expect the drivers to know what they’re delivering all the time especially with those pesky third party delivery drivers but for some reason when it’s broken down by them for me I’m just impressed. You can tip via credit card which is nice because some places either have you do it ahead of time only or in the obvious favorite fashion, cash. I like this because it gives me the freedom to tip extra if the food came early or in the rare case that it’s a little behind maybe a little less. Either way I try to give at least five bucks. I would absolutely recommend giving Famous George’s Pizzeria a call. Start with the mini meal deals that are super affordable starting at a mere $6.49 heck try three or four at once and find your favorite. I love this place and I’ll keep coming back for years. Seriously order tomorrow.

Totally Disappointed! King of Prussia has the worst pizza places around and Famous George's is one of those places. Ordered a Pepperoni Cheese Pizza and it smelled good when I was driving home in the car. However when I opened up the box and saw the thick uniform crust, barely melted cheese, barely there tomato sauce and very little pepperoni on a probably commercially made frozen pizza pie premade dough, I was shaking my head this will be terrible!!!! Well it was hot, I say they got that right but the pizza was so absolutely tasteless. Also got the fried mushrooms and they were tasteless too. Mushy with bland Marinara Sauce for dipping. They were probably premade and frozen. I used to get their Strombolis years ago and they were so good so I thought the pizza would be decent. Boy was I Wrong! I'm afraid if I got the Strombolis, they won't be good now too.

Come here often. Friendly and fast service. Menu has plenty of variety. The pizza is great, thicky doughy crust. Fresh ingredients. Same for the salads, fresh and plenty of toppings. There is no where to dine in comfortably.

Every time I visit my son and we get food out I request Famous George's. Love the pizza and stromboli. Plenty of other spots to go in KOP area but choose Famous George's . Good stuff!!

First and last time. rude customer service, in store prices don’t match website prices, pizza was cold, the ricotta cheese on the white pizza is disgusting and the broccoli topping is still raw….

I wanted to like this place because the owner and employees were so nice, but it is not good pizza and the cheesesteak was dry, unseasoned, and completely lacked cheese. The pizza was bready, and not in a good doughy way, and everything just fell flat. Honestly, I would have preferred Pizza Hut; it just felt cheap.

$12 for 10 wings the size of my thumb is ridiculous. Prices don't match the menu or online menu

Went in to order a cheese steak. It was 93 degrees outside and most likely 120 inside. The place was filthy with flies everywhere. Regardless, I went to order, and the women who I think own part of the place asked me when I was due (as in pregnant). I was 94 pounds and 5 ft 2. She then proceeded to call my dog (who was with me) ugly. I left, and she freaked that I didn't pay for the order that no one had made yet.Parking: Its basically a lot where you do your best to park in a spotWheelchair accessibility: It's not as there's no way to open the door when you're in a wheelchair or anything like that. There's maybe 2 handicap spots. However, they aren't big enough to accommodate a van.

The last two times I ordered, the crust is dry and puffy. Did you change your recipe? I love you guys, but this is very disappointing. I specifically came to you for the authentic New York style. I really hope you reconsider changing back.
