Had 2 eggs over easy, rye toast, bacon and shredded home fries. Very affordable !!!!!! Excellent quality, food was hot and wait time was minimal. I wanted a quick place to eat breakfast before work. My shift started at 10 am, I got to the cafe at 9. I ate, paid and left all by 930. Service was very polite and prompt. They play a lot of older music, which is aligned with the vibes and interior decorations. It's a really special place 🔥

Did not eat here. Watch live video ont tik tok live and noticed the cook’s cross contamination. Laid down bacon then he touched the cooked food and cack to raw bacon. Notnonky thatnhe touched his face with those same gloves and back to food. The other cook on the eggs wearing no gloves then touched the cooked bacon with his hands. Very discuting and most of all when I mentioned it they muted me the rest of the video From sharing my comments. Well i hope no one gets sick from cross contamination and more.

Great experience overall. Came here with the family (2 adults and 2 kids) and got out under $50 with tip, which seems hard to do any more these days. Very reasonable pricing.

The outside is very cute with a giant chicken. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly host and waited less than 5 minutes for our number to be called. Server was friendly and efficient, owners were very present too. Restaurant was clean with great atmosphere and decorations.

Had the Florentine Benedict, which had a delicious hollandaise, best I've had in years. I was underwhelmed however by the 4 pieces of spinach, so next time would order a regular as it's not worth the extra dollar. Coffee was also tasteful from a local Philly shop (Ellis I think the owner said?)

But overall it was the breakfast experience I was looking for, which as a mom of 2 small kids, is hard to get and rarely happens. Definitely check it out!

Hoping this review brings a ton attention to people looking at the reviews. As soon as I Turned on 4th street head headed west I was great out front by their Rooster Rudy. I knew this was going to be an amazing cafe. As soon as you get into the restaurant you’re greeted by the owners Peggy and Ron. The cafe has an open kitchen design and also an amazing 50s vibe. Behind the line in the Kitchen you usually have the owners son the famous Matt Too Tall slinging up the eggs and the omelets. To the right you also have family Dylan Brandon Owen during the day. At night when the cafe opens for dinner you’re still not all greeted by Peggy and Ron and Behind the line you have Phil another family member making up some amazing dishes. No matter what time of day you go you will never have a bad meal. I traveled over 45 minutes to try this cafe out and I’m a frequent flier in the cafe. Please watch the video and see the photos from my experience!! Thanks Have A Great Day!! -FluffyFoodReviews

I visited the café today on my way home from Allentown,PA. I got a seat at the counter for a front row seat to see all the action in the kitchen. Matt the Chef and leader of the team was on point. Pop Ron greeted with a smile and a friendly nod. The waitress served me up a hot cup of Java and gave me some time to pick my meal. I decided to get the Benedict special which was a waffle drizzled with honey topped with breaded piece of chicken, more honey, two perfectly cooked poached eggs and delicious golden holandiese sauce and a final drizzle of honey. Perfectly cooked potatoes completed the plate. A master piece of flavors and beauty to the eye.
After admiring the dish I cut into it releasing the golden yolk. I got a taste of all in one bite and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The honey added that level of sweetness to the dish without overpowering the dish. Yumm was the best way to describe my first bite.
The creativity was amazing.

If you haven't been there yet add it to the list you will not be disappointed.

I ordered a Turkey Rachel and sweet potato fries. The food was excellent and the service was great. This 50's style restaurant is charming and the staff friendly. The owners have created a great place. Many happy customers and full bellies when I was there. Also, very clean.
