If you like sushi, this is not the spot. The fish is not fresh and the rolls generally are not tasty. I am okay with spending a lot of money on some rolls, but this is not the place to do it. On a positive note, our server was 12/10. She was attentive, patient, and on top of her game. The ambiance is nice and my friend's udon was good. The raw fish is not.

Our waitress was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and she took good care of us. For 2 people, we ordered 3 apps, 2 entrees and a sushi roll and I think that was plenty with some leftovers to take home. We ordered the rock shrimp (hit), shishito peppers (wouldn't recommend), short rib buns (hit), chicken yakitori udon (fav), hibachi beef (not bad) and the summer roll (didn't like one bit). If there's one thing I'd recommend it's the noodles- it was well sauced- not too salty and the bounciness of the udon made it so yummy! If you order it you'll know what I mean :) I would recommend this cute spot!

A bit pricey but the food is delicious and our servers have been kind, funny, and energetic each time. Worth a visit!

The best sushi in Greater Philadelphia. Volcano roll is my favorite!

The food was okay, the customer service was poor. The only friendly person was the new server but he couldn’t answer any of our questions. We won’t be returning!

I tried this place for restaurant week and was pretty disappointed.Starting with the host who sits people. She was not friendly at all, didn’t smile, barely talked, didn’t look at me. She seemed like she hated her job.The waiter was new and didn’t have answers to some of our questions. Instead of him finding the answers he would just saw he was new and didn’t know. We had to remind him a few times of things we requested. The “seared salmon” on the salad was either tuna steak or some other mysterious meat. The waiter didn’t want to ask the cook what it was… def wasn’t salmon. The people who bus tables were rude… just taking stuff off the table without smiling or saying excuse me. Management was walking around asking people how they were doing etc. They looked at us several times and did not bother to engage or smile. The food was ok. I enjoyed the crab cakes and cheesecake with matcha.

I came here for restaurant week with a group of friends and had pretty low expectations since I haven't heard the best things about this restaurant. But I tried to keep an open mind, and judge things from my own experience. It started off strong with the sesame salad, the seared salmon was cooked nicely, and I loved the different textures. The appetizers were the best part of all the courses, the pork belly was AMAZING. Blew everyone away, super tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed the tuna tataki but felt the crab cake bites were just okay. For entrees, we got the Wilmington roll and stonepot bibimbap and thought those were pretty average. Definitely better off going to a mom-and-pop shop. I was really looking forward to the seafood boil but was disappointed, it was not cajun style like I anticipated. There was a decent amount of seafood, the lobster was unfortunately overcooked. For desserts the chocolate cake was very rich and decadent, but we found it was a bit too heavy for our preference. The NY cheesecake tasted pretty standard some parts were slightly icy which makes me think it was frozen beforehand. The service was decent, the food came out in a timley manner. Overall, I would not return, it was very overpriced and food was just okay. The only exception was the pork belly, truly one of the best things I've had.

We were seated more than 10 minutes before anyone even came over to bring water and introduce themselves. A couple of managers walked past several times and didn't say anything, only observing. Finally, Eleanor greeted us and handled everything. She was AMAZING! She mentioned it being her 3rd day there. It was obvious she had experience, though. That young lady turned things around after our initial wait! The food was delicious and cooked well. The presentation and overall look of the food was niiicceeeeee too. Thanks

We ate at Kooma during KoP restaurant week. Food was excellent and included salad, an app, an entree and dessert for $50. There were 4 choices of apps, 4 choices of entrées and 2 dessert choices. We also got martinis which were excellent but expensive - $12 to $17 each. Service was slow but they were very busy. We had to ask for water refills several times.

I love this place! Everything that we had was delicious! Definitely a little pricey, but worth it for the quality. The martinis are all delicious as well! The crispy tuna appetizer was my favorite. It was my mom's birthday and chef Paul made us a couple special things to make her birthday extra special. I'm excited to come back and try more delicious items from the menu!

One of my favorite places, great options, drinks are fantastic, can be loud but wait staff and bar staff make fantastic drinks and are spot on with service.
