Our server's name is Alphonso and he was very attentive. It was my mom's bday and he surprised her with a HBD dessert. I haven't been to this location in a few years and it didn't disappoint. My mom, the birthday lady, enjoyed her dinner.
I decided to write this review after our experience and then reading other similar reviews from long-standing, now disappointed patrons of Maggianos. We have been coming to Maggianos as one of our ‘go-to' places to celebrate with family and friends, as well as the occasional family dining for over 20 years. We've also come multiple times for the various holiday events as well. After our last two visits, we are becoming less interested to rush back. While I understand restaurants like to evolve in certain aspects, it feels like they've decided to change all the things we enjoyed. In most all our visits, we have enjoyed the family style experience. They have decided to revamp the experience with less choice (apps and dessert) and more expense. I'd rather have the expense but still have choices. Additionally, many of the Maggianos food staples have changed. The ‘Maggianos Salad' isn't the same at all anymore. It would have been better to just get rid of it rather than change the whole thing and pass it off as the same. Pancetta was changed to bacon, avocado was added, the dressing tastes different, and even the greens were different (now 100% spring mix). Another favorite was chicken parm which I'm not sure how you change a standard. It went from thin, crispy chicken to ‘grand' which apparently means thick chicken, little cheese, and no spaghetti. The chicken piccata also changed changed and went from a light, lemon sauce to a cream sauce...and again thicker chicken. Lastly, no four-cheese ravioli option on the family style. And the icing on the cake was no Parmesan or pepper on table for the oil. And the pepper I received when asked was ‘table paper', not even the fresh ground. It's just disappointing overall. We were actually going to host a 40 person birthday party in a private room but changed our minds after our recent experience and booked another restaurant in KoP. Time will tell if anything changes back for the better.
Amazing experience as always. Love the food. If we lived closer then we would be there once a week. We are about one and a half hours away. When we make a trip to KOP we always stop at Maggiano's. Great server being attentive to our needs. Awesome experience.
Amanda, the restaurant manager, approached our table to introduce herself and to check if we were first timers at Maggiano's. Indeed, we were first timers and she immediately offered desert on the house. I thought it was a generous and kind offer. We were pleasantly surprised and appreciative. Food was excellent overall. The decor is first class.
As always, we had a tremendous time. Time with family is always special, but great food makes it even better. Celebrating Easter with family from Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland made this a very memorable experience. Thank you Open Table for the convenience of the app to secure this reservation; the place was packed to capacity and there were still many waiting. I don't know if we would have been able to get in with a party of 10, if we didn't have this reservation.
The fact that they got rid of their old type of family style they had for 30 years without telling people other than through social media means they lost me as a customer
My pet peeve is being rushed through my meal. We ordered the zucchini appetizer and we were no more than 3 bites into it when our meals magically appeared. I'd like to believe my food is being scratch made (especially when it's $30), but when it comes out 10 minutes after ordering it makes me feel like I've just wasted my money. We also asked for more bread but we didn't get more olive oil from the server, nor were we asked if we wanted grated Parmesan on our entrees. Maggianos, you're slipping and we don't plan on coming back.
Had a great dinner @Maggiano's King of Prussia, thank you to Manager Amanda Stoll and our server James for the hospitality the dinner, dessert and wine were excellent! Highly recommend!

It was my birthday dinner, and I was extremely happy with our server JAY who was outstanding. He did not miss a beat as he took care of me and my family’s every need and made my birthday, memorable and very joyous. The food was excellent and piping hot as well. we will definitely be back and will definitely ask for Jay.

There are so many legitimately good Italian restaurants in the Philadelphia area. The fact that this place is always packed and is at best mediocre astounds me. I only go because my mom really likes it. I think she remembers how it was 15 to 20 years ago when it first came into the area. The quality is so lacking.

Honestly my experience both times were c amazing. It’s such a vibe, very intimate, very nice inside. Food is good, drinks are EXCELLENT! Shout out to Corey or server , me and my gf loved his energy! I love a person with great customer service and authentically his self. That’s what brings me back! Authenticity means a lot and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! But any way, this place is great, Corey is great ( ask for his tables) , the food is great! I guess this is date night spot. ??

We chose this place to celebrate my daughter's birthday! The food was excellent. Our server was great! The atmosphere is very homey. My only complaint is that I made 7pm reservations for a party of 4, got there on-time but ended up having to wait 15 minutes. What the the reason for making reservations if they aren't going to hold a table open for you???

We celebrated our brother's 90th birthday in this lovely place. It was a beautiful experience. All the staff did a wonderful job and the food was excellent. I would greatly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a first rate, classy environment.
