The food is usually delicious, but in my recent experience the "lean" brisket that I ordered was dry and hard. The mac & cheese and green beans were delicious, but the meat was inedible. They threw the meat on a paper which meant that the juices were absorbed by the paper. The meat was also not thin sliced. I hope the management can oversee the cooking of the brisket because my meal was ruined by this dry, thick meat.

Can’t stand subtle racism. Walked in everyone gets warm greetings except me. Food was on the counter the whole time but server completely ignored me until another guest walked in (white). Didn’t even eat the food that how turned off I was. Thought this was a veteran friendly place but I guess you have to look apart. I don’t like writing bad reviews but I also don’t like getting treated different.

Perfectly priced great testing for for your family
Figured I would check them out since they're close to where I live. Just don't expect to get a lot of food here, at least not with what I ordered. The two meat sampler is true to its name. It's about enough meat for a ten year old. Not an overweight ten year old, but maybe an underweight one. At almost $14 dollars for it this place should be embarrassed. The cornbread that came with it was about a quarter short in size to a true piece of cornbread and very crumbly to boot. You may fair better with a burger or something.

Had never been to a Mission Barbecue before & wasn’t aware of their history. I work at the nearby Children’s Hospital as a Paramedic, went there in uniform and was taken aback! Great service, amazing and kind group of people and staff. Great food. Excellent in every way. They do a great job. Very thankful that this place exists!
