My family and I have been visiting Amberdonia for years and keep coming back because of how much we love it. I’ve also brought friends through the years. The décor and ambiance take us out of Kingston and transport us to Italy with their cozy feel. The pizza is baked to perfection and the service is friendly. Try the bakery items too. They’re just as delicious as they look!

Their cupcakes are hands down in my opinion best in area!! They have an apple pie cupcake that if you close your eyes would think it was just the pie as a cake and no pie crust. Then they have amazing cakes there as well.

Best Pizza place in town! I lived here my whole life, tried mpst pizza shops from Scranton, old forge, wilkes-barre, Nanicoke and more. I am discovering that Amberdobia is one of the few, if not the only, pizza shop (in the valley) that uses real olive oil instead of processed vegetable oil or oil blends. (if there's another shop out there that uses olive oil only, please tell me and I'd love to go there too!) I think Amberdonia is a great model for how pizza should be made - with real ingredients: Fresh tomatoes and real mozzarella cheese, quality dough, light not overfilling.Staff is kind, helpfull, and passionate. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. They even carry coca cola with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.Parking lot is a little tricky to find bc the shop is located in a building that used to be a bank but its worth it.To be fair, I'm not a fan of the pastries even though this is one of their primary draws for some customers. Amazing selection but they just don't compare to my favorite bakery that used to be here in the 90's and early 2000's (Shout out to the Old River Rd Bakery from South Wilkes-Barre).

The Cedonia and Thorin's Thunder pizza was so delicious. Honestly, this place has some of the best pizzas I've tried in the area. The crust is soft and crunchy and not too thick. The toppings are very unique and, when combined, create a burst of different flavors and tastes. Our server was very attentive and kind. The ambiance was also very nice, with pretty decor.

The spring salad was excellent. The wooden lazy Susan's on the tables are a bit large and need to be moved to the side to have an unobstructed view of your family/friends at the table.

The desserts were amazing and priced great too! So many choices to pick from! I believe they only serve pizza so we just got desserts to go. Great place for unique cupcakes!

Amberdonia Bakery is better than any NYC Little Italy Bakery I have ever been too (for reference, I was born on Long Island and frequent NYC for getaway trips)You walk in and are no longer in Kington, PA, but rather, a well decorated bakery on the corner of the Sistine Chapel! If that wasn’t enough, their authentic, mouth watering cupcakes and cakes are simply delicious! (They *almost* look too good to eat)My family and I have decided to make a monthly outing to this establishment.Staff is lovely and owner Aida is a genuine soul!Out of 5 stars… it’s a 10 for me⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a unique and very delicious bakery restaurant. Their salads are absolutely delicious. There pizzas are a treat and should not be compared to others. The bakery items are superior. I enjoyed a cream-filled bakery item called lobster tail. Oh my word! It was perfection. It's not a place to bring hungry children who may not enjoy an Epicurean delight in a pricey, but affordable, bakery.
