I never write reviews, but after my experience at Bagel Bar I felt like I needed to share. I don’t know where the 5 stars are coming from because this place shouldn’t be in business. I ordered a coffee and one pastry for take out thinking it would not take very long (the pastries you grab yourself so I was just waiting for my coffee). I was sitting there for 10-15 minutes and the entire restaurant was virtually empty. I normally would not complain about waits, but I was on a time crunch for an appointment and it’s partly my fault for thinking this place would have efficient service. My review however is not just about the service and wait time it is the cleanliness of this restaurant. On the outside it looks very cute and based on some reviews and photos it looks like a nice place, but having experienced it myself it was not that. After I had already paid I walked over to grab a pastry and the first thing I noticed was that they were all uncovered. Flies and nats flew out of the pastries. I don’t even want to imagine the state of the kitchen in the back. The floors and tables in the dining room were sticky. It is a completely unsanitary place to eat. At that point I was extremely disgusted and in a rush so I left even after paying. I love supporting small businesses instead of going to food chains, but this was a very disappointing experience. I really hope they take these reviews seriously because cleanliness and food safety should be a top priority in the food industry.

Friendly staff, great food, and nice ambiance.
Great food, really great service
Ordered from door dash and ket me say I’m beyond pleased.
They don’t clean the tables that previous customers used. Loud children that run and yell around the tables. Food was ok.
Only place that I can find that serves a bagel with lox. Nice place, limited parking.
Their bagels are correct and delicious and I grew up in NY. These guys know what they're doing.. and the service is excellent.
Customers were rude... bread products were OK. Girls at the counter were friendly and courteous
Excellent service

The food was good, but it was a 30 minute wait for two bagels with cream cheese and a salad. By the time we got our food everything was cold.

I love a good bagel. This place was in the area while traveling and it looked really nice from the outside. I walked in and heard someone cough. I looked their direction and realized they were getting bagels. The bagels are out in the open! The people standing in line are right next to the bagels, and they moved over so the guy coughing could get his bagels. I have never seen a setup like that, and I lost my appetite. There was no way I was buying any, and I left. I don't consider myself a huge germophobe, but I expect places that serve food to make a reasonable attempt to keep that food from being able to be touched or coughed on by the public.
Great vibe

I have been going to the bagel bar since it opened. I’ve had sandwiches, salads, hot food, cold food, bagels, pastries, breads and I have NEVER had anything that wasn’t delicious. The only issue is at times the staff is overwhelmed and service can be a little slow when teenagers are behind the counter and are too nice to customers when there is a backlog instead of being short and sweet and moving on to the next customer. The pricing and portions are fine if you remember this is kosher food. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet enough to work. I will continue to eat there.

Nice place with decent food, probably the best you can expect from a kosher store in middle of nowhere. Nice outdoor seating also and the prices are a lot better then most in town places
