I visited KJ‘s pickle barrel to pick up my order and was absolutely appalled by the staff’s behavior. The woman running the pick up was more attentive to her game of solitaire than it was to my basic Yes/no question.

The staff is very friendly with a positive attitude which coincides with the warm, inviting atmosphere and excellent customer service. We tried the tuna wrap that came with a kosher pickle. It was good. I also ordered a side of chili soup recommended by the staff. The chili was delicious and perfect for this winter cold weather. They offer a variety of soups and sandwiches. If you are searching for a new place to try a sandwich and soup, I would recommend this place. If you try a soup, I would recommend the chilli. I will definitely come back to try more options on their menu. Customer service is so important and they deliver excellence in service.

First time wanting to try KJ’s, we walked in & seen they closed at 4 & it was 3:20 so still had 40 minutes. After looking at the menu the lady comes over & didn’t let us know immediately when walking in that they were shutting down the grill after the last cheesesteak was being made so we couldn’t get anything grilled even a simple smash burger. They had more than enough time to make us something, I get shutting down the girl 10-20 minutes before closing but a whole 40 minutes is absurd.

The hoagie have good quality meat and they are packed full. Even though it is called the pickle barrel, the pickles are not the highlight of the meal.

Had been wanting to stop here for a while and finally got the chance to! Got a turkey BLT on a pickle and it was the most yummy thing I've had in a LONG time! The bacon really was the star! 100% would go back again for delicious sandwiches and pickles!

This was a great little find and an awesome lunch place. We kind of discovered it just in passing and are glad we did. I had the Lenape sandwich and all I can say is it hit on all cylinders. Very cool concept!
