We consider ourselves ice cream fanatics and we are regulars at Manning’s. I believe the real taste test is a company’s vanilla. It’s not my favorite flavor- but there is nothing to hide or cover up flaws. Their vanilla and most other flavors which I have tested are delicious. Definitely in my top ten all time ice cream shops. The staff is super friendly and serve generous portions. If it’s in stock, the caramel truffle is top notch.
We stopped here on the way home from a camping trip. Although they have a good variety of flavors, they were out of quite few but the ones we got tasted ok. One of my children wanted a banana split..... no bananas, also were out of several toppings we asked for. Probably won't go out of my way to try it again.
The shop it self had water stains all over the ceiling and the blinds on the window are very dusty and half the ceiling lights are burned out and there ice cream case half the variety was empty.
