I grew up going to Peking Chef and I have only had good experiences. Everyone in both locations have been very kind and I also had an option of dark meat or white meat chicken and that really makes a difference. The prices are only higher because “you get what you pay for” you are not buying a Kia for its “luxury” are you? Doubtful. I always go by that saying “you get what you pay for. I LOVE Peking Chef! I used to eat there daily when I worked at Wyoming Valley Mall. I recently saw the same Panda Logo I remembered and found out they were in Kingston. I drove from Tamaqua PA. to get it (an hour plus). The food was as good as I remembered, and now I take a weekly drive up to get it! It is worth the drive! The food is always hot and delicious! We came in at 6:30. The signage on the restaurant said they were open until 9. He told us we needed to be out by 7. We expressed some confusion with the door signage and it was explained dining closed at 7 with the cold weather and take out was open until 9 and say that it was fine. The waiter repeatedly slammed things on the table took food away immediately, reminded us we needed to be gone and kept the lights low.
