Everything at Something Special hits consistently every single time, they don’t switch up. Service is always good and they literally have the best croissants I’ve had anywhere nationally.

While not the cheapest spot in the world, you get what you pay for!

No air inside everyone is breathing in the same air feels hot disgusting and muggy

Great service. Got the iced hazelnut latte and the special sandwich which had a Jack Daniel's glaze. the sandwich was huge and so tasty! Fries crispy and also delicious. Table a little sticky from wear and cleaning agents but overall clean small atmosphere. Cookies also tasty.

I have tried several things here and each time they are 10/10 !! The apple / squash soup is to die for , the carrot / dill soup is fantastic!! Finally the turkey bacon sandwich on sourdough is PERFECTION!! Chicken salad is also yummy. Can’t go wrong choosing this place for lunch!!

Reading the reviews and seeing it’s a hidden gem. I have to agree. Whether breakfast or lunch, I’ve never been disappointed with the food. The Nicole sandwich is a favorite. And their macaroni salad SLAPS! Hearing complaints about the staff to me is appalling. My favorite thing about this place is the staff! They have become friends. Take the time to get to know who is serving you food. They are people with lives and feelings just like you and me. Some of the best people I know. 🥰

Delicious food! I’m not sure if the owners are just very overwhelmed with the amount of people in a small space, but they are beyond rude. A few people I know have boycotted them due to their rude attitudes. Be kind, especially to those who are supporting your small business.

Something Special is an amazing hidden gem in Kingston!

I am infatuated with their Brussel sprouts salad that usually graces their menu in the Fall and their turkey sandwiches are always a fantastic go to. The macaroni salad is also nothing less than perfect!

Breakfast is amazing as well, there is no way you can go wrong with their breakfast sandwich or their French toast.

The staff at Something Special are always kind and grateful, no matter the time of day or how busy they are.

Also, super props for supporting local artist work constantly in the dining room!
