I travel around western PA quite a bit and my wife and I like to stop and small, independent "American style" restaurants as much as we can, rather than chains. I have passed this restaurant, and the very noticeable giant cowboy, more than once and always been curious. I actually passed it once searching for an entrance (btw, easiest to come in at the gas station). The restaurant did not disappoint. They had a great menu with a lot of selections. The service was friendly and fast. The food that we got was really good and had plenty of portion size. I actually had one of the best reubens I've had and I've eaten them in German restaurants. It wasn't soggy and disgusting. It tasted great and was well cooked. My wife loved her food too. They apparently do car cruises and the whole nine yards, do this place really is a cool blast to the past and the kind of restaurant more of us should be supporting.

Great old school vibes here! Delicious comfort food with reasonable prices and friendly employees. Diner burgers, fries with gravy and wide variety of pies and soups. Meatloaf dinner and breakfast were also very good. We will definitely be back.

Very nice relaxing simple restaurant. Had breakfast with my boys. Great chocolate chip pancakes and top notch sausage. I tried the blueberry lemon pancakes which were also delicious. Service was excellent and prices very reasonable.

I had the poorboy burger and fries, excellent cook and flavor! Also got an order of fried pickles and they were also very good. Appeared to be made in house and not by the handful out of a frozen Sysco bag which says a lot - also very good! Slices, not spears, light batter that doesn’t get in the pickle’s way and well fried. Golden but not greasy. The Mrs. ordered the daily special, stuffed cabbage. We were both happy with it, exactly what you hope for: rich sauce (runs a little sweet but I prefer that for this dish anyway), soft but not floppy cabbage, and generous amount of filling that also had a solid cook on it. Not crumbly, not overly stiff like some kind of beef and rice hot dog, just where a stuffed cabbage should be. If you’re lucky enough to stop in when it’s on the board do not hesitate to try it.

So glad that this place is getting cleaned up and moving forward. The food is very good and the servers are very nice. The place is very old school which is great, but needs a few updates (which is actively being worked on).

I had a group lunch for some of my military friends. We had good service and everyone I talk with liked their meals. I had the hot sausage sandwich with onion rings. Very good. Nothing special, just good food at a good price. Stop you see for yourself!

I had family in the area and I attended school not too far from here. It's a classic local spot that is more than worth the stop. Highly recommended!

It's a greasy spoon for sure! It's old and a little run down. The burgers and Graham Cracker pie were excellent! The meatloaf.. not so much.

Fantastic experience. Small local family owned restaurant. Portions were perfect, service was phenomenal, quality was fantastic. Honestly not at all what I expected but will stop by again. If you want home cooked quality, small town diner experience, at a very reasonable price, stop in. Lots of choices.

I was going to have a meal. But when I got served stale coffee along with the old grease smell. I ordered cheesecake cuz I didn't see any of the homemade pies in the case. I ate the cheesecake but was so disappointed ☹️? the prices may have been considered reasonable if the place I would have been comfortable to sit in without the smell by

Nice restaurant, very clean and friendly place to go to eat. I would not recommend the children sandwich. A frozen piece of chicken on a bun. Fries are extra!
