So the pork I got was hard little hockey pucks, the beans were slightly fermented, the rice was crunchy, they had ran out of all empanadas but one kind... The papas rellenos were great. As far as allergens most everything had gluten, or milk/cheese, but no alcohol!

I HATE HAVING TO COMPLAIN, BUT THIS IS A STRAIGHT UP DISGRACE TO REAL PUERTO RICAN FOOD!!!!! I was just here today & as soon as I got my food & saw the yellow rice I KNEW it was boxed rice!! The seafood empanada had imitation crab with shrimp & cheese… weird combination!!! The yuca alcapurria was different too; had corned beef inside. I should have known better from the moment I stepped foot inside & saw it was a “Puerto Rican” restaurant calling EMPANADILLAS/PASTELILLOS EMPANADAS!!!!! I spoke to the owner in Spanish & he kept replying in English. To whoever who is looking for real & authentic Puerto Rican food pleaseeeee don’t even bother with this place. (NOT INTENDED TO BE HARSH JUST HONEST)

5 Stars – A small town gem with heartfelt service!
My son came home from college recently, and all he wanted was empanadas and Spanish rice—a taste of home he’d been missing. We had a special occasion to celebrate, so I reached out to Casa De Empanadas to inquire about their catering menu. I hadn’t realized they were closed for Memorial Day, and I figured we’d have to make other plans.
To my surprise, they didn’t just respond—they went above and beyond. Even though they were closed, they asked what I needed and made arrangements so I could pick up the food on Memorial Day.
And the food? Absolutely delicious. The empanadas were perfectly crisp and packed with meat, and the Spanish rice was just the comfort food we were hoping for. It made our celebration feel even more special.
Casa De Empanadas isn’t just about great food—they showed me it’s about people who care. I can’t recommend them enough.

This is the worst empanadas I ever had and relleno de papa was bought and fried from a box. Definitely not Puerto Rican food. Pork tasted days old not fresh and really bad and empanadas were horrible in taste. Empanada Dough supposed to be made at the store if this is their specialty in which is not. I had stomach pain since I ate here, First time and I will never go back.
For my first time going i ordered an buffalo chicken empanada and it was so creamy and stuffing definitely recommend

Update to my review! I did not realize parking was permited across the street. With this being known now I have nothing but postive things to say about Casa De Empanadas.
I just got the yellow rice and pulled Pork on Friday. The portion was great and it had banging good taste. I wish you much success moving forward.
I have had a Beef and Chicken empanada and they were great! No hesitation making an empinada that was not ready for takeout. Tasted great and good value!
Parking: Free street parking in front of the location and across the street from the location.
