The service is always top tier even when they are super busy- the food and beer is amazing everytime!! The vibes feel like your coming to a family members home and very pleasant to see how the staff treat eachother you can tell it’s great place to work!
I came in looking for an opportunity to earn business. As an alumni of KU I missed THE Tavern and stayed and got the lamb burger. It was amazing and so was the waitress. I will always recommend the Kutztown Tavern to those either passing through or staying in town.
1st time here was a winner on all counts. Hubby and I decided to stop for a late lunch after spending time at Renningers Farmers Market. We were not disappointed. Very cool atmosphere and was seated in a cozy booth. Our server was quick to take our orders. Hubby had the cowboy burger with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce along with fries and I had the grilled cheese on ciabatta bread and the soup of the day, creamy tomato bisque.
