Service was great. Food was better than most Mexican food I have gotten in PA. Being from AZ, I am used to pretty great Mexican food. This place is on the upper rating compared to what I have gotten in PA. I had cheese enchiladas, chili rellano, and sopa. The atmosphere was decorated cute and had a happy Mexican vibe to it.

Have been coming here since it opened in 2001. A great place with a very tasty and spicy green sauce I cannot find elsewhere. Friendly staff. The chili rellenos (cheese) are great, as is their fried ice cream.

Please come here ! Bought a burrito 🌯 i got spicy , I'm not average when it comes to that lol so for the average person I think it was perfect ! Really good over all , and good portion size. Local spots need support from locals !

Can’t say enough about both this one and the Temple location restaurant run by Sals sister! Like no other, the best ever. I’ve been coming here for 25+ on my lunch hour while working in Kutztown and will be coming for 25+ more! My fav mexican restaurant of all time! Kudos to you! Gracious amigos!!!!

We came into town from Philly for a ski trip and got this for takeout. This was some of the best Mexican we’ve had! The pork and steak were both delicious. Very tender and flavorful meats - I was worried the steak would be tough but it was so good.
I got enchiladas with salsa verde and my husband got a steak chimichanga. Both awesome! We will def order from here again next time we’re in the area highly recommend! Thanks amigo!
This place rocks. As a painfully white fellow who doesn't particularly enjoy spicy food, I did not find myself at all put out.
Our host was very welcoming, making recommendations when we weren't sure what we'd like, and taking great care to ask how comfortable we were with spice.
The food is really quite good. Their salsa is spicy, but full of flavor, one of the best I've had. I enjoyed the pork quesadilla, and was surprised to find that I thoroughly enjoyed their guacamole, despite not considering myself a fan of that food normally. My girl thoroughly enjoyed her enchiladas as well.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. A little pricey (for a college town), but reasonable in the grand scheme of today's standards. Very authentic Mexican food, a real gem in a bastion of PA Dutch heritage.
Parking: There's a small lot behind the store, just off the street, but it's right for bigger vehicles and may not match the capacity of the establishment.

I frequent this establishment and it is by far the best place in town. Authentic, delicious food, very caring staff, and such a lovely and homey atmosphere. Everything about this place is simply incredible. My partner and I are recognized every time we go in. ❤️❤️❤️ This is by far my #1 pick of places to go and eat.

Absolutely horrible service. I didn't leave a tip because all they did was bring out my food, the worker(owner) was crying on why a tip was not left and asked me not to come there anymore. What a joke of a restaurant. Tipping is not a must. If you want to tip put a note on the door and state no tip no service I told the worker( owner). Some people should just not own a restaurant. What a Joke.
