I walked in, they told me to sit anywhere. I sat down, they gave me a menu. No one returned to see if I needed anything like, are you ready to order do you need extra napkins or refill. I had to get there attention every time I need it something. I was the only non white person there. Everyone leaving the restaurant was getting a Merry Christmas except me. But maybe I’m overthinking it. All I know is I won’t be returning.

I ordered a NY strip for dinner and it was most definitely not a NY strip. It was the chewiest nastiest steak I have ever eaten. They didn’t season it at all. I also got a slice of cake to go afterwards and when I ate it, it had a very funky taste almost like mildew taste from the refrigerator it was in. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I called and ordered food for takeout, so it would be done by time I finished fueling my truck. When I walked in the diner it was dark, completely silent & no life in there. The waitress was finishing taking this older white man’s order & than decided to carry on a conversation with him having me wait and my food was there getting cold. At the end of her conversation with that old white man she made a subliminal racist statement saying “I’m going on a color run tomorrow”. They both smirked, the man walked away and then she rung up my order. At that time I was the only black person at that diner. I still payed for my food even after that nasty statement… when I could have walking away. I came in peace like I do everywhere I go & I’m glad I was able to see things for what they were, nasty spirits.
Food was bland. I ordered a western omelette (that was wet and veggies were not cooked inside ) that came with home fries and toast (that were dry and stale).
Won’t be coming here again.

Food was excellent but they were out of a few menu items. Waitress was friendly. Very old decor and could use good cleaning.
The outside may look a little rough but the inside is cute & clean! The food is delicious and waitress was exceedingly polite and attentive. Found this place by sheer accident traveling from NC to ME and it will be a marked spot for us to return.

I don't even know why I'm rating a truck stop diner, but my phone chose it after we ate there. The waitress had no clue about the menu or what was offered. I hope she was new. It was a hole in the wall in every single sense. Food was edible. You might need a tetanus or penicillin shot for using the restroom.

Absolutely hands-down the greatest customer service ever the food is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is great. I wish I would’ve gotten the name of the girl at the front desk, but she was just a breath of fresh air. I am absolutely looking forward to coming back and having a dine in experience.
