Usually I only review places I’ve personally been to. This is an exception to my rule because my good friend Emily texted me to leave a glowing review.

She says,
“you must write a positive review of Simran, SO GOOD BEST BUTTER CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD AND THE SERVICE WAS SO GOOD. family run, very authentic. soooooo good.”

You heard it here first, folks

The food was amazing and the server was very accommodating! My dad had never had Indian food before and is an insanely picky eater. The man serving us was able to give him a recommendation he loved, and he's already talking about going back next time he visits!

I love this restaurant so much and recommend it to as many people as I can!! The food has amazing flavors and is so fresh. The paneer is made in house and you can tell and there are so many vegetarian and vegan options. The food here always hits the spot and the owner is so sweet and personable and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. Not to mention how affordable it is for the quantity and quality of each meal!

I’ve been here a few times and the food is consistently flavorful and authentic. Spice level is pretty low, even if you ask for spicy — not quite like it is in India, so keep that in mind.

I recommend the butter chicken curry — it’s my go-to and always hits the spot. It comes with rice, which is usually good, but once I got rice that tasted a bit old. Worth asking for fresh rice just in case.

The place itself is basic and nothing fancy, but comfortable enough to eat in. Overall, solid option for Indian food if you’re craving good flavor without too much heat.

During our recent visit to Allentown area, we ate twice at `SIMRAN'S'. It was excellent experience with food, service and atmosphere. Service was friendly and very attentive staff, it was prepared above our expectation as pure Indian Authentic taste. Server offered his expertise about sauce and ingredients used in meal which we ordered. The dishes were cooked to perfection with the combination of flavor, texture and taste. we strongly recommending anyone looking for taste of pure Indian Cuisine, this is place to try. `SIMRAN'S' keep it up.
Thanks for the great hospitality.

Wonderful first experience dining in at Simran Indian Cuisine near Kutztown University. The art works and atmosphere were great. The menu was very robust with many different dishes to choose. The chef tailored the spice level for our requests and the food was exceptional. We'll definitely dine again when visiting Kutztown.

Ok, I have confessions to make first. I have eaten samosa off the street in Jaipur (literally off the street, lassi covered in street dust in Luknow, and home cooking surprisingly on Dickson, TN. And seemingly everywhere in between. I have watched Indian cuisine fill the void in rural America when Mexican gets boring.

We had take out appetizer from here a family event. I’ really glad this place is in Kutztown and I hope for the best for the owners. But the appetizers were a bit boring for my taste, all a bit overcooked and under spiced.

I will return to really try out a full meal.
