I adore this place. Every time I've come here the food has been unbelievably good- I really can't reccomend it enough. The baked goods are divine and the cupcakes and cakes are wonderfully decorated. The staff are so sweet and pleasant and the prices are terrific especially for the quality and quantity you get. I woke up at 4am this morning just to make it here before my classes started and I'd do it again.

Came in on Sunday for breakfast. I ordered the apple cinnamon toast, which is regular French toast with apple pie filling on it and it was delicious. I got a side of bacon with it, which was two pieces of bacon. They were good.
The other person in my party got two eggs with tater tots and the tater tots were really good. We got a coffee and a hot chocolate both were OK.
I didn’t expect them to have a wide selection for breakfast foods and lunch. I thought it would just be the bakery, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Oh wow. Drove this street plenty of times passing by. Glad I stopped. Skip the reheated junk at Dunkin. Excellent fresh made breakfast sandwich and at a cheaper price. Homerun.

Oh my gosh. What a delightful surprise in Kutztown. The Cottage Bakery is so inviting and friendly - A warm welcome for a newcomer to the area. Dawn, the owner, is very smart. She let us sample one of her cupcakes and I fell in love. I walked out with 2 muffins, a scone, and a cinnamon roll and returned later for my cupcake to go. Her baked goods are amazing. I'm a very picky baker and cook. Everything I eat has to be worth the calories and better than my own or I won't eat it. This is one of the best bakeries in the country. I can't wait to come back with friends for breakfast and bring all my out of state visitors here when they come stay with us. Thank you, Dawn, for sharing your gift with the world.

Everyone was very nice, and walked us through what the cupcakes had in them. I got the tiramisu, I was a little worried by the price, $11 for a piece of tiramisu seemed steep, but it was the best tiramisu I've ever had. Worth the price!!
