Just happen to discover this BBQ Restaurant while out for the day on my motorcycle. So glad that I did! Had an amazing 1/2 rack of ribs, cucumber salad and cole slaw. Everything was delicious. I travel quite a bit and frequent BBQ restaurants when doing so. The Meat Hook BBQ is now in my personal top five favorites. The service, food and restaurant atmosphere were all 👍🏻👍🏻! No disappointments whatsoever.

I think the place is nice for a barbecue joint in a small town. Ate chicken which honestly was bland without added sauce. The sides were excellent. Had Beans, potatoe salad and salted potatoes. We sat outside and my biggest complaint was it really needs to be cleaned. The tables obviously had not been washed in a very long time. I will try it again with different dishes.

I was traveling by and the sign caught my eye at a time of hunger, i just wanted some smoked meat to satisfy my craving but instead i received a religious experience… this place is FENOMENAL!!! I wish it was closer to home but i guess il have to settle with it being my number one spot in the area. Thank you for making my day with your delicious food! :)

Loved it!! If we lived nearby we’d be here every week!Friendly family staff, tasty food, just right sized portions, a GREAT quick REAL meal after an event before heading home 3 hrs away.We will recommend to others in our medieval fighting hobby to stop by when in the neighborhood.There is also cute outdoor patio seating with a little stage. That could be really cool!They also just got an ice cream machine just in time for summer!

I’m convinced anyone who left a 5 star review hasn’t actually eaten here. If you aren’t “in” with the church crowd you’re treated like nothing. The food is bland and should be shamed for being compared to real Texas bbq. 0/5 all around. Terrible experience.
First time eating here brought home a platter I wasn’t sure what I wanted and everything I got was so good can’t wait to go back again

We had the meat platter and the brisket mac and cheese boat and they were both delicious! Very good prices and well worth the money, eat local! Very friendly staff and great atmosphere, good place feed our little one!
