Stopped here for dinner tonight and enjoyed it! The hot roast beef was very tasty, and so was the rice pudding! My husband and I split an order of chili cheese fries, which were okay. The atmosphere was a little lacking- the place felt old and a little run-down, and everything was served on small plastic plates, which was a little cheesy. That being said, id still go back if I was really craving a roast beef sandwich!

A good bar with great food. This is such an easy place to always go. Prices are great and the beer selection is pretty decent. Obviously the roast beef is top notch but don't sleep on the pizza.

The best roast beef I've ever had, hands down. I love to go in there and sit at the bar in front of the carving station ... have a beer, watch some sports, and eat an amazing roast beef with the sharp provolone and sweet peppers. The cheese fries are amazing as well.

I recently went to get the best roast beef sandwich and exceptional fries! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed, the fries are not the same and shrunk by half and the big steamship beefs that they used to carve from are now a 2” slabs of meat in watered down broth. The sandwiches are not as big and the quality went down. So unhappy with the change of what I thought was an unchangeable place!

I’ve been going to Ye Olde Ale House since the 1970’s. The roast beef is still prepared behind the bar, and the decor of this place hasn’t changed much either. Both of those are good things. Great beer selection too! Gets really crowded on Thursday, Friday and Saturday around dinner time, but they do a good job of moving people in and out.

If Arby's is the "Meat Mountain", then this is Everest of Meats. This is a must visit place if you are in the area. Places like this are far and few these days. Best Roast Beef Sandwich around. Very simple, served on a paper plate. Perfect.
