I had an amazing experience at Porter House! The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch from start to finish. To make things even better, the valet service was excellent—they greeted me right by the door with genuine hospitality. I’m not the best with names, but I remember Stephen and Jake, who went above and beyond. Such respectful, professional young men. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food was great, other patrons a little loud but overall a good time!

Usually love everything but last two times I got the grouper sandwich it was under done and mushy. Staff is always terrific but when a customer leaves most of the meal on the plate, I’m surprised no one asks whether something was not right. I would have gladly told them why I couldn’t eat it.

Always good food, we had a party of six and everyone was happy with their main courses.
The down stair can get very loud when it's packed and you can't hear the person next to you, upstairs might be better for a larger party, if you want to hear.
The only issues we had were the dessers, the blueberry cobler wasn't that good, the creme Brulee was over cooked and dense. However the chocolate mousse was very good!

Great variety of dishes with a beautiful view of the farm from upstairs. Service was very good. Prices are reasonable too.

I’ve been getting Porterhouse take-out for years because it was always great! But recently it’s gotten really bad. Sloppy & poorly prepared food, missing items and horrendous order takers on the phone that don’t know the menu. Some of the issue is probably the order takers and some is the people in the kitchen being hasty not giving a care of how they put the food together. Just a bit of consistency would go a long way into fixing this. Food shouldn’t look or taste different each time.
Clean up your act!

Views from the upstairs dining room were lovely. Issue lies in the lack of AC which caused many of us to not enjoy and fully relax during dinner. Food was decent, generous portions, quality expected for the price point, and a few standouts and misses. Baked potatoes were undercooked, some apps were under seasoned, crab cakes were awesome, onion soup was under seasoned and lacked the richness of a proper onion soup. Service was attentive and prompt with only issues coming from the drinks being massively delayed. Great for a romantic date for those seeking good views, consistent decent food with a hometown feel.

I ate here last nite (7/24/25) . Invoiced ending 1038
Ordered the crabcakes and house salad. The salad was good , nothing special. Lettuce a little onion and 2 pieces of tomato with croutons. I was surprised to see the crabcakes as there were 2 and a generous size with broccoli. The crabcakes were so wet and mushy I could only eat a small portion of one cake maybe a third of it. Never touched the second one. The broccoli took up 1/2 the plate and was way overcooked and also very wet and mushy. I ate as much as I could but didn’t put much of a dent in the serving. I asked for the check the bartender asked if I wanted a box I said no. She never asked if there was a problem. Did I like the meal ? Nothing. I don’t blame the waiter for bad food but when the dinner is barely touched I think it’s her responsibility to ask the obvious question I would not recommend this place other than for drinks and maybe ? A burger
