We only tried the chicken empanada as we were trying things from several stands, but I thought it was delicious! I would come back to try other things from this food stand.

Love the southern market and I wanted to try this place’s tres leches cake. I have enjoyed their quesadillas and other menu items but avoid the tres leches. Probably the worst one I’ve had. It’s very dense and dry. The server seemed to know it wasn’t great when she inspected it before giving it to us and saying it was a good one.

I recently experienced 4E for the first time at their new location in the Red Lion Franklin Street Social across the trail from Grounding Specialty Coffee.

I asked them to make me whatever they felt was a good representation of their food. I was offered Sancocho (which I didn't even see on the menu). It's a hearty stew with large bone-in pieces of beef (though they make it with chicken or pork as well) and the largest chunks of vegetables I've ever been served. There was almost an entire cob of corn in the stew, massive carrots, sweet potatoes, and more. It was rich and creamy, savory, and subtly sweet. And the serving size provided me with lunch for the next two days.

It's a Sunday they are opened from 11-6 asked the young man behind the counter if they had pernil and would there be enough for me to place an order after I had my drink. He stated yes. I didn't even finish my drink and went over was told they sold out 15 mins ago! Seriously? First time here and the last. You have 3 more hours to go and your out of a top seller in every Hispanic restaurant around, very disappointed, maybe reconsider your hours of operation and close at 3.

Fantastic food! We had the cuban sandwich and the BBQ roasted pork sandwich. Both were delicious and the service was very quick.

My life has been changed... the empanadas at this place are AMAZING, and now I seriously crave them all the time. It is definitely this place because I ordered empanadas at a restaurant this weekend, and they were horrible. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Sorry the picture isn't great, but I forgot to take one before I ate them.

Wheelchair accessibility: The closest entrance to this isn't accessible so you have to go down to the main street to get in. Street parking is limited also.

We enjoyed our meals. Shimp Salad..tastes like a bit of the Keys and Cheviche ..so fresh! My husband had the pernil dish..the pork was melt in your mouth! I can't post a pic..because we ate it all! The family is from the Dominican so don't expect Mexican food!..
