Our server was really nice. However, I think he was stretched thin between bartending and serving, so he didn't check in as frequently as we would've liked. We were left waiting to ask him for our check for over 30 minutes & he got drinks for the table next to us w/ no check in. He also got my partners fries wrong, which to his credit he did fix.
Update: 10:24pm, finally gave us our check after finishing our meal at 9:40pm. We had to ask our server twice. I'm waiting for a box and for him to come back with my receipt. He came back w/ my card to sign the receipt and no box and left, no have a good night or anything. Had to ask a different server for a box & he got it immediately for us which was very nice.
The fried pickles should've drained them better before they were served. They were incredibly oily (see picture). The sweet potato fries were devine as well as the drinks, the barbecue bacon burger was drier than the Sahara. The food is definitely overpriced.

Food is great. I think they have around 20ish beers on tap. Sky bar and outdoor roof area is really nice during good weather. Bar tenders are really good.

If you were drunk, this food might satisfy. Our Pico de Gallo tasted very off (I am glad my guy didn't try it as his intro to Pico de gallo), and they used large cuts of grainy tomatoes-bleh. My blankened salmon was dry and flavorless (I've had so much better at Park City Diner and much better peices!). The broccoli had an off-taste, and the mashed potatoes were blah and over-mixed. My guy's fries were burnt and cold. On the plus side, the waitor was understanding and attentive. We were given a free piece of cheesecake for our trouble. Just recommend better ingredients and perhaps a different chef. Otherwise, I had a nice time with my date.
Stumbled upon this place accidentally. We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. The bartenders name was Jimmy and he gave us the best service! He was so warm and welcoming. The bar had great atmosphere and fun music. The food was delicious as well! We would very much recommend the Mahi tacos and the wedge salad. I would totally come back here. It was such a pleasant surprise!

Lesson learned about the discount on fish taco night. It was a game of finding the fish & slaw under the mountain of fried AND soft flour tortillas. Otherwise our go-to place within walking distance.

My family and I, 7 of us total, visited 551 West after my bodybuilding competition. Food and service was amazing!! After 6 months of dieting, all I was craving was some good American food and that’s exactly what we got! I’m not even a cheesecake gal but the Oreo cheesecake was incredible! I would definitely visit again next time I’m in the area.

On August 7th, I called the restaurant to ask if they would be able to accommodate a party of 24 that evening and was informed that usually a party of that size has to reserve at least 2 weeks in advance but that the request would be passed to the owner and he’ll call me back. The owner called within minutes agreeing to accommodate us and only asked that we be patient as the restaurant is low on staff, which was absolutely fine as I was just happy he was accommodating my request ( It was a surprise dinner party for my son who was turning 18 and he requested 551 to what he thought was a Mom and siblings dinner). Not only did he accommodate our request, we were given a private room which was awesome!! I’d also like to mention that to my surprise we find out our server was the actual owner, he came in just for us!! Everything from the food to the service was amazing and he even insisted we take our group picture on the stage as he took the pictures. It was a great experience and I can’t thank him enough for helping out in making my son’s 18th birthday a memorable one!

Fun little place a bit off the beaten path. Nice outside patio upstairs. Reasonably priced with lots of options. Nothing too fancy but good, interesting food options.
