It was my first time at this breakfast spot, and unfortunately, I experienced what felt like racial profiling while waiting in the “Please Wait to Be Seated” area.
Without a greeting or any acknowledgment, I was immediately asked if I was there for “Carla.” When I asked who Carla was, the hostess then said, “Are you here for DoorDash?” I told her no. After that, she proceeded to ignore me while helping other customers who walked in after me and personally escorting them to their tables.
I politely let her know that I was waiting to be seated. She vaguely pointed to a small table in the corner and told me to sit there, while I watched her walk other guests to their seats.
Her attitude made me feel unwelcome, as if I didn’t belong there. What bothered me most was the assumption that, as a woman of color, I must have been there for DoorDash rather than as a paying customer — while others were greeted warmly and assisted without question.
I left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. No one should be made to feel that way when simply trying to enjoy a meal. I hope this establishment takes the time to reflect and do better. I didn’t get her name but she’s white & very masculine

I've never been let down twice that I've been here the food is always amazing fast like a normal Diner it's always hot friendly staff great waitress / waiters and always Pleasant to check out Unfortunately they close at 2:00 so get there early

What a great diner! We ate here on our way home from Amish country back to Pittsburgh. The breakfasts were generous and delicious and the service was friendly and top notch.
