We had to wait a half hour after our reserved time to be seated. But it turned out to be Homecoming night and the restaurant was full of dressy teenagers. Once we were seated the experience was wonderful. Great food, excellent service and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!
My wife and I were visiting Lancaster and decided to book a reservation (the reviews were so high) and we had an absolutely amazing experience and dinner. The service was attentive And the waiter Ryan did a great job. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner and it was obvious why our food and experience was great. There is no question we will be back on our next visit to Pa. It might be even worth a special trip. Thanks for a great dinner.
Can't wait to return! The food was outstanding----branzino the best I have had in years and Chilean sea bass memorable. Service was perfect. Yorgos (second floor) is a hidden gem!
We had a wonderful meal to help celebrate our wedding anniversary. We both had the lemon chick soup, I had the dinner special which consisted of lamb chops and a crabcake and my wife had the salmon. Everything was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant.
The scallops entre (coquille st. Jacque” was just as good as our last visit in 2023. We also gave rave reviews to the spinach pie. The bread was the best we've eaten in Lancaster, PA. Our friendly waiter was very attentive. We will be dining at Yorgos again.
We were at Yorgos for our anniversary and the food and service were wonderful. The owner even brought us a cocktail on the house. With all of the choices in Lancaster Yorgos is still our favorite.
Thanks to Father's Day, I was finally able to try Yorgos. I was pleased with the food and service. We definitely be coming back. The prices were reasonable and atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend the Mediterranean pasta!
Truly authentic Greek cuisine. Some of the best I have had outside of Greece. Tony, the manager, comes around personally to check on tables. The rooftop terrace outdoor tables are a hidden gem in terms of ambiance. One of our favorite restaurants in central PA.
First time, and I will be back. Great Greek cuisine mixed with other steak and seafood favorites. Loved the ambiance...the only slight draw back was the music from upstairs was filtering down over the restaurant. Still highly recommend this place! Great staff too!
We ate upstairs twice with parties of 4 and 6 this week. Our meals were wonderful (everyone was pleased and we ate a variety of food choices), we never felt rushed, and our server was efficient and friendly. Cannot give any other eatery in the city higher praise.

My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday with the hopes of trying some genuine greek food. The upstairs restaurant is really nice with a nice quiet atmosphere unlike the downstairs bar area. The wine and our waitress were good but that's about it. The food is on the level of Applebee's or microwave food at the best. I ordered the greek sampler. The meatballs were hard, so hard that I cut one and it flew off my plate. The rest of the sampler just tasted like it was frozen food that they tossed in the microwave with not much flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Pastitsio. His was not any better. It was a square of gelatinous macaroni with some meat on the bottom with more pasta. Maybe their sandwiches are better. We most likely will not return. Very disappointed.
A nice variety of items on the menu both traditional Greek and American. My only minor complaint is that, on more than one occasion, prime rib or filet come out more well done than requested. Usually it is too much of a hassle to send it back especially when dining with 3 or more persons.
We had an amazing experience at Yorgos! From the host that sat us to the server that helped us make menu choices, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The food was beyond delicious! The bar is downstairs and it was crowded and a little noisy, so if you want that experience, choose a downstairs table. We ate upstairs in the dining room where it was quiet and the view outside was so pretty with the blue and white lights in the tree outside the windows. Would recommend Yorgos whole-heartedly, we loved it!!
The owner and staff were very friendly and the food delicious! I will be going back. But I would recommend requesting seating away from kitchen and elevator area. We were seated right next to that area and there was a party else where going on in the building so there was constant noise and use of the elevator right next to us. A table in that area is not so great. Too close to kitchen/elevator area. Outside of the seating area, it was great and I will request seating now that I know the layout.
We had reservations for Kefi at 7:00. Our table was not ready and we agreed to be seated at a table on the 3rd floor. We were the only table at that venue which was a little bit of a downer. Overall, the four of us had had a very good time and the food and service was excellent. We'll be back in the near future.
