One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had on the night of 2/21/26

This place is a perfect example of how a hotel should not be run. I was woken up three times because of a bathroom leak and, instead of resolving their own issue quietly and professionally, they turned my night into a chaos. Reception called me at 10 PM, 11 PM, and midnight: first to ask if there was water around the toilet and to tell me to put towels down, then to inform me they would be sending maintenance to my room, and finally with maintenance knocking on my door while I was trying to sleep. The lack of respect and professionalism was unbelievable.

The concierge was also one of the rudest and most unprofessional employees I’ve ever encountered. He interrupted me, raised his voice, and acted as if I were the problem for trying to rest in the middle of the night. His attitude was so hostile it felt surreal.

To make matters worse, I had to wake up early to continue my trip, and this whole mess caused such insomnia that I couldn’t rest at all. They completely took away my ability to sleep, something basic that any hotel should guarantee.

The saddest part is that the hotel is actually beautiful, and I would have loved to enjoy it. But the disrespect, the poor management, and the total lack of professionalism completely ruined my stay. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances.

Went for a wedding - venue was very nice, ballroom was beautiful, food and drinks were great. Would definitely recommend for a wedding or other event. I did not stay at the hotel though my wife saw one of the rooms and said they were very nice

We (my husband and I) truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the Cork Factory Hotel. From the very
beginning, their team was in communication with us early and often to ensure our entire wedding
weekend was exactly what we envisioned. Their attention to detail, organization, and genuine
care made the entire planning process feel seamless.
Cork Factory helped coordinate everything beautifully — our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner,
welcome reception, and wedding day itself were all executed flawlessly from start to finish. They
also went above and beyond to make sure our guests booked their rooms with ease and were
comfortable throughout their stay. Knowing our friends and family were well taken care of
meant the world to us.
Just days before the wedding, we had a last-second surprise when our wedding coordinator was
suddenly unable to work our event. Without missing a beat, Jennifer stepped in and was
absolutely incredible. She was equal parts general and one-person support system — calm,
decisive, organized, and reassuring. She made us feel completely secure, as though we had been
working with her for over a year. Her leadership and kindness made all the difference on such an
important day.

Perhaps most impressive was how Cork Factory handled the looming snow and ice storm that
was predicted to hit the East Coast just hours after our January 24, 2026 wedding. Sensing our
stress, they went above and beyond in ways we never expected. They proactively refunded our
morning-after breakfast and even refunded the final hour of our open bar. They also worked
closely with traveling guests to cancel unnecessary room reservations and adjust plans as needed.
Their compassion, flexibility, and generosity during what could have been a very stressful
situation ensured our guests still had an unforgettable weekend.
Without a second’s hesitation, we would recommend the Cork Factory Hotel for your wedding or
any special event. Their professionalism, warmth, and commitment to excellence are unmatched.
They are simply the best.

Hotel was extremely loud. Would never stay again. We could hear everything going on I neighboring rooms. Beautiful building and good service

Nice rooms, beds are quite comfortable! As far as I can tell (based on 3 rooms on 3rd and 4th floors), bathrooms only have showers but they are reasonably sized. The restaurant is quite good. They have pack and plays if you are traveling with small children. Offer free coffee and tea in the mornings but don't offer included continental breakfast. Rooms have a small fridge and safe, no microwaves. Bathrooms have hairdryers and rooms come with ironing board and irons.

Great room, nice reception staff, smooth check in. Only downside was we were a bit late to check out because our 10 month old was having a meltdown, the check out staff knocked on our door every 10 minutes like we owned them money

Great hotel, great bar, great restaurant. Get the frog legs

I wish I could rate this property better but it was insanely noisy. We could clearly hear EVERYTHING in the room above. There was no sound proofing. This meant we heard all the walking, cleaning, talking, and other things you really don’t want to hear when you’re on vacation. It woke us up several times at night and in the morning, and I don’t think the people above us were being unusually loud. I understand that the hotel wanted to expose the ceilings for the aesthetic, but it was at a great cost. There was also a wedding one of the nights we were there which was very loud. This only matters because the ballroom entrance is on the 2nd floor right next to a bunch of hotel rooms. We just wish we were put on a different floor since we were not apart of the wedding party or at least had been given some sort of warning.

Uber location needs to be watched, restaurant is good

Interesting hotel. They do have a very cool bar. We stayed in one of the annexed bldgs. The rooms were a little on the sterile side. TV in room was tiny.

Clean and spacious rooms in a former factory. Wonderful architecture. Super comfortable and great location.

Room and decor was very interesting.
The room was very clean and beds were comfortable.
No coffee maker in the room and ice was only available on another floor. TV quality was poor and much smaller than expected.

Very nice weekend stay for a family wedding. Beautiful, very spacious rooms, very clean. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. The restaurant on site staff were knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. Their gluten free bread was delicious.
