Wunderbar! Had always wondered why there were no German options in Lancaster and discovered BierHall today thanks to the Lancaster Bicycle Club. The schnitzel reminded me of those my mom or my cousins in Germany would make. The sides? German style cuc salad and kraut? *chefs kiss* The Bier would have lead to a few verses of “🎶Ein Prosit, ein Prosit🎶” had there been more. Looking forward to returning to enjoy the biergarten with friends in warmer weather.

Food was not good, not enough German style beers. Did not like the lack of wait staff hated doing everything online through a website.

By far the best bar & restaurant in town. Good food, good beer, amazing vibes. We love taking our little one and making memories with our family here!

Pretty average. Wouldn't go back on my own but if someone else was interested I might go. Service was also lacking. Needed some small plates and wound up eating off a napkin.

Had nachos, giant pretzel, chicken tenders, and fries. Did a flight of beer. Out of that, the pretzel was probably best it was also oversalted. Would probably ask for it on the side next time.

Beers were okay but hefeweizen was crazy banana forward. Yes I understand that's the beer but I don't drink beer to taste banana. Favorite was probably the helles bock.

We LOVE this place. The craft beers are always great and the food is so good. The atmosphere here is amazing, so definitely sign up for the Steinmeister card and reap all the benefits of this awesome place.

Our favorite bar/restaurant in town and it’s not close. The service, atmosphere, and food are second to none.

I’ve been to the Munich Oktoberfest and The Bierhall Brewing Company does a great job of creating a German beer hall with a modern American brewery twist. Traditional German foods are offered on their food menu such as potato pancakes, soft pretzels, and schnitzel to name a few. I ordered the soft pretzel with German mustard and beer cheese and I enjoyed both along with the warm soft pretzel. The pretzel was a bit heavy on the salt but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed by dusting off any excess. For lunch I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich and it was very crispy, thin, and juicy. I really enjoyed it. The fries that accompanied the sandwich were very tasty too and appeared to be beer battered? There are a few TVs located inside in case there is a game you want to catch otherwise there is also an outdoor area as well with a small section for groups with dogs. Overall a very cool place in Lancaster that you should check out.

BierHall serves good beer. The food is just okay and a bit overpriced, in my opinion. Service is good and pretty quick, at least at the time of my visit, but it feels less personal because you either have to walk up to the bar or else order using ToastTab via QR code. It's nice that leftover boxes are not made of Styrofoam.

Service was great.

Beer was mid. They nailed it, a lager taste like a lager, a Pilsner taste like a Pilsner, and a sour taste sour.

But all of the actual flavors fell pretty flat. I honestly think domestics do a better job.

Food was below average. I got the schnitzel, it tastes like chicken with honey mustard. My girlfriend got a smash burger and it was alright. Fries were great!

The biggest disappointment was the pretzel. I can’t, they aim to be German, yet that pretzel is straight from the cysco truck. I’m 90% sure I served that same pretzel at the bar and grilled I worked at in college. You can buy this pretzel in the frozen section at Walmart.

Food was excellent. We had wings and nachos and they were top notch. I tried several different beer samples and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The German Pilsner may have been my favorite. They have a nice little outdoor area to occupy the kids so you can enjoy the experience a little better than just trying to get your kids to sit still the whole time while eating. Quite the step up from the old jukebox location. Will definitely visit again.

Good Bavarian style beers made in House as well as some western beers. Good food, we had the curry wurst and veal schnitzel plate with Sauerkraut and German potato salad. All of the food was solid ranking amongst the best I've had outside of Bavaria. As a restaurant bar I'd give it 4 stars but as a little taste of Germany it's an easy 5 stars.

Please go to BierHall Brewing Company. The beer is crisp and refreshing, the food comes out of a family kitchen, and the atmosphere is community focused. As we were leaving we met one of the owners - Jim at the bar. He took the time to answer all of our questions and make us truly feel welcome. We will definitely be back! Cheers :)
